you leave any valuable on display and there is a good chance it will be stolen. Until some sort of locking is taken on board then sat navs will continue to be stolen

LOL, I thought it was just mine that was like that.
Whats so different about that car connector!?

Its easily put right with the use of the OHs eyebrow tweezers.

I've also been bitten by the broken (bent) In Car Charger connectors....just trying to get it straightened or decide whether it's worth getting a new one......or complaining to Micromaxx.....
What should I put in here that won't upset people.........

Anyone had problems with using a card reader/writer, of files not being recognised by the PPC, when written using the card writer rather than ActiveSync, until a soft reset is done on the PPC?

  • Must say I'm loving this PDA, there's so much it can (potentially) do and the GPS bit is brill (just used it for the first time this week, really am a kid with a new toy).

Anyways I'm looking to download Acrobat Reader for PPC from the Adobe site http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2_mobile.html#pocketPC but can't work out which version:

    1. Pocket PC Version 2.0
Pocket PC 2002 and Windows Mobile 2003 with update 2

    2. Pocket PC 2002
    All models - ARM, X-Scale

I know the Micromax is Version 4.20.0 (Build 14133) and therefore is Windows Mobile 2003 but it appears there is also Version 4.21 which is Windows Mobile 2003 SE (Second Edition) which ours isn't - but is ours Windows Mobile 2003 with update 2 as per 1. above?

I know I could try both version a la 'suck it and see' but I don't want to muck it up (if that's possible) so has anyone installed Reader and if so what version?

    Cheers,

Not here, I've installed (and promptly uninstalled) several freeware progs but always using ActiveSync. I have had to soft reset though on two installs which didn't ask me too but didn't show up until I did the soft reset.

I think I need to close and reload some programs to refresh their file lists after adding files via the card reader.

Anyone getting the message about the maps being more than 12 months out of date and you should consider purchasing a new one......

Not too impressed - 3 months after getting it the maps are well out (as we know) but possibly sale of goods not fit for purpose etc etc,......

  • PC CONNECTION PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hello All

I have just recieved my micromaxx MDPPC 150 and have tried to connect it to my pc via the activesync software and cable supplied (without docking station) ,I have also installed the activesync software on my desktop pc (windows xp home edition os) but upon making a connection windows says that the usb device connected is not recognized even though i believe that this should just be a plug and play connection!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do I need to make a network for this connection and assign user names and passwords (seems unlikely to me as it uses usb?????)

does anybody know where I am going wrong or have you had the same problem????

I would be gratefull of any help on this matter , cheers  http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/newreply.html?do=newreply&noquote=1&p=1927494#
