Well I'm not gonna argue with that comment spikey, seems a bit steep when you consider the cost off new sat navs now a days.
And just what is the Medion Shop web site all about, I put a search in for "Maps" and got about 2 pages detailing exactly the same item, and going from page to page I got upto about page 6 and saw nothing but the same SD Card. What a mess ?
  • Hi,

    There is the alternative....

Go to Navigon.com and for £39.00 they will allow you to update your complete software to Navigon Navigator 5.0 which is not the cut down version that Medion supply. Includes UK Maps but what date I can't say.

Includes Voice command of the PDA etc etc plus many more POIs. And it's available for the Medion MDPPC150 ;)

I just got I-GO or my MDPPC150.... Everything works great and the maps are really fast and smooth. Navigation is excellent and route calculation is second to none...

Now the bad points. It doesnt have any way of doing a speed camera poi update. Does anyone know a program that might work..

    would POI observer work??

As far as i know the website that has the download charges you per month or a yearly figure to get the updates so I presume you will just copy over the previous speed camera database then you will have the update on it

Any SDIO WiFi card will do, although you will probably need one with built-in SD memory card as well, if you want to run any software.

    No built-in memory:

Google or ebay search for built-in memory ones. Sandisk used to make them, but not sure if they do now.
