Don't know what you mean Nats:rolleyes:
Well it's only here isn't it, flippin payday and its a bit of an anti climax to be honest
I have been paid, have made big payments today, my signature does not seem to change enough for my liking, and I've done a complete forecast for the month and got about 30 squid to play with  so I find myself already anxious for next payday:o I'm sure thats not healthy
So lets think positive, I've just been for a lovely walk in the sunshine (7180 steps for any nerds out there), Also just had a lovely home made egg sandwich on lovely HM fresh bread, and it's the weekend so I must stop fixating on this debt (God knows I ignored it for long enough)
This weekend I'd like to go for a nice walk Saturday am, then costco, matalan and ASDA shopping. Sunday wallpaper my daughters bedroom whilst slow cooking a Pork roast with loads of crackling a nice bath and a bottle or two of grape juice:p
Happy payday everyone

Sounds like a good idea - mine will be fermented and, preferably, aged in oak casks first, though. :beer:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Hi OBNW, Thanks for missing me! I woke up this morning and realised that I hadn't posted for a week so back here today. It's March tomorrow .... can't believe it.
Have been updating spreadsheets and checking cc balances. All going down slowly but I totally agree with you that it's not as fast as we'd like! I've done my whole months forecast too and it's scary when you see how much you have to play with. They say it's better to know how tight things are but like you I was happy in my ignorance!!! It does seem such a long time between paydays!
We had a fantastic walk last weekend. It was a gorgeous day - a bit windy but sunny. My legs were killing me the next day as I'm just not used to this exercise milarky! OH has gone off again this morning but I'm staying here to meal plan, get the washing up to date and then ferry DD to her friends to go to a party tonight.
Well done with the pub quiz! We don't have a local so don't get the chance to do them myself. I know what you mean about birthdays for the kids. Last year we had a 21st, an 18th and the a 17th all quite close together. 17 yr old opted for driving lessons which has cost us £400 all told but she has her test in 2 weeks so fingers crossed. Have another 17th later this year and an 18th for the learner driver! Luckily none of them have wanted big parties but just going out for a meal with the family (7 of us plus grandparents = 11) costs a fortune. Nevermind, University fees to look forward to!
Hope you have a great weekend and get that wallpapering done.

Well todays shopping came in 16p under budget
I walked into town this morning and popped into wilko's, they had water filter jugs and cartridges on sale and I was really pleased to get one under budget:j also my DD2 has wanted a spring sided loose bottom cake tin for brownie/cheesecake making for a few weeks, I found them at £15 in lakeland and £6.99 in Dyas but wilko's had a drum of them to clear at 50p today:T so a good moneysaving day all told:money:
Did 12,000 steps on my pedometer today with my long legs that is 6k so I'm happy with that...would love to shed a stone of wobble that has appeared:eek:
Haven't wallpapered yet as the walls are being held together with a tad more polifilla which needs to dry out ( I love old houses) but I am way ahead on the grape juice:beer: and would just like to say how stunning a combination is liquorice and wine :happyhear
take care

can I join in to! read your diary and you sound like such a lovely funny person!
had my lightbulb moment this week! Not as high as yours but still worrying as I am a single mum of 1 (11 tomorrow) and was made redundant in November.
Didn't realise at the time, had a MSE moment, but whilst christmas shopping with my redundancy money (all £500 of it!) I bought my son his birthday pressies too, so glad I did, its his birthday tomorrow and I would have been in a right mess with worrying about getting him something.
So have spent a little while on the forums the last few weeks and trying to get my act together!new challenge?£1 a day for Christmas 2024 £367 / £366 ~Got married 24/05/19 ~ Credit CardDFW Nerd #1155 ~LBM 25/2/09 ~ Debt at highest £8,037.35 ~ £00 -
