Have just done HHE - Max Impact for the first time (about an hours worth) - though I'm not fit and did low impact for some of it as my knees can't cope with high impact just yet.

Does anyone have any tips to stop chaffing from sports bras? It's a fab fit - but it has an awful lot to hold down  while I'm bouncing up and down (literally :rotfl:) so causes chaffing. Have tried many things including kitchen roll to stop it hurting :o - any suggestions gratefully received.

Morning folks! Had a brilliant weekend away from DS. Much to much to drink but I had a lovely time out on Saturday night. Met some lovely guys and got chatted up a time or 3!

Back to day 1 this morning. I haven't sorted out a food plan as such as DS came back from his dad's unwell and I'm debating whether or not he should go into school. When I work out what I'm having today. I'll post on later!

Well done on everyone who did their HHE's yesterday! keep up the good work.
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.

    I failed today.
I haven't done my HHE and I feel a tad guilty.
I have been working all day on cooking, ironing, planning etc and I simply have run out of time and energy. I did have a bit of a dance last night for a good half hour and it did run into midnight........ spose I could include this.
Why is it that if you set yourself goals and you miss one you feel so bad???
Diet has been good and I have eaten properly.

Annie, don't feel bad. Last time I checked this thread is a weight loss thread not an exercise one! You have been good and have eaten properly - that is your achievement.

There have been so many posts on here since the new year that has been focussed so much on exercising that I am also feeling a little intimidated.and yes if I am honest - a bit pressured. :o

I was quite happy doing my dieting and my bit of walking that I can manage, but now I feel a little inadequate.:(
I get weighed later this morning so will post my results in a bit - not expecting a loss.
I have been posting my daily eating plan on the slimming world threads lately as they seem to be a bit more relevent to my needs at the current time.
Hopefully when I have lost a few more stone I will be able to post my exercise results on here too!

    Love

Oh thank God for this post:rolleyes: I feel exactly the same as you, I have diligently been doing my HHE,then a bit more, got all the gear, into it but then read things like Maximum impact, boot camp, etc and I am like OMG I am doing nothing in comparison and then feel the need to push myself more and today arthrtic wise am in feet pain so bad cannot do it today, will try but was happy with the walking:rotfl: :rotfl: my sis has told me off because I have got carried away or tried to keep up or am too competitive and today I pay the price:rolleyes:

I take it your older? Best time to do it in my opinion, degrees are wasted on the young! ha.

If i had my time at uni again, i would wait untill im 30, when im more mature and doing assignments was a new novelty, not a chore. The older people in my uni classes embaraced and tackled the assignment head on, the youngens waited till the last minute, rushed it and then handed it in just on time or with an extension.

I know for a fact i could easily get a 2.1 for my course, and i could have had a distinction for my HND, but boys esp 1 in partic, drinking and shopping took preference! 2.2 for me, and im hoping.

p.s only 5 days till my dissertation hand in day! cant wait for the pub after, im going to get merry big time

I'm a guilty youngun actually! Well, I'm 22, nearly 23, and I haven't studied for about 5 years or so because I knew I would be just like you've outlined above - Like to think I've matured a little more now and ready for serious study. I do find myself rushing occasionally to get the essays finished, but the grades are coming on OK so far :D Getting merry sounds good - Have fun :T

  • Hello all!

Just letting you know after talking to my mum, an avid attender of SW and a great believer, I will be following SW again, mainly on the extra easy. My main problem with SW before was not being able to have potato with my meat, or rice with my curry etc. This plan looks ideally suited to me, and my OH has even said she will join in     Shock horrow, but I'm very glad.

How has everyone been fairing with this plan, is it working for you guys?

Think I've sorted my BMR calculations Missy! Though I think I'll probably ignore them if going onto SW again. Weight loss here I come!! :D
