Thanks BB for the chart, it sort of feels all official now! Well done to everyone, you all make me determined to make even better efforts so I can keep up!
:j :j My 'new' cross trainer arrived from e-bay today!, a real bargain and necter points too:j :j

Hoping to give it, and me, a try out tomorrow, DS1 & DS2 have promised to put it together for me while I'm at work, but I fear my first 'proper' HHE will be ME putting it together lol

Thanks BB for the chart. It looks complicated, but you seem to know exactly what you're doing!

I now feel all enthusiastic again about staying on track, seeing my week's loss there in print. I've had an odd day today, but I think it's because I never did get my HHE done today, for one reason or another (mainly friend/OH/kids). Because of that I feel I've not achieved what I should have, and keep thinking any food I've had is going to put weight straight back on again! Totally irrational! OK, I need to get to bed, as I am late, and must be there before 12.

Thanks so much for the chart, BBelle - it looks fantastic! And it's such an inspiration to see how much weight has been lost between everyone in total, and how other people are doing so well. I hope I have a loss to report on Saturday. Glad to see I'm in pink for the first week, too, as I love that colour. :D

Quick suggestion (although there may be a reason I don't know about!) - just wondering how it might look if the columns went 'week', 'month', then 'total' at the end? It doesn't matter at all...it's just that it took me a while to get my head around the month thing being at the end after the total loss. There may be a very good reason for it, though! :)

    Thanks again, BBelle. :)

glad you enjoyed kickboxing ffm - i always loved it and i was in my best shape when i did it. Alas it got be too much about competitive fighting which i didn't like, and also i so don't have time any more.

victory, how are you doing targetted stuff on the step on the wiifit? I've got normal which is a preset programme and advanced which is the same. but quicker and a bit harder. There are mornings where I'd quite like to set it to a time and keep stepping but i can't find a way to do that. I looked at free step but i didn't like the way it assumed i was going to go off and watch telly whilst i did it so i couldn't keep track of what i was supposed to be doing.

Thanks for the thoughts missy - as far as me-time goes, i tend to wind down whilst cooking, or when i'm away at the weekends. Oh and i have a facial every 6 weeks too. I am busy through my own doing, but i wouldn't want to not do anything that i'm doing now if that makes sense. Apart from the cleaning bit, obviously. It would be nice if OH did more but i've learned that rather than get worked up, have the row and find that he's still not doing stuff, it's easier to just do it myself. He puts the bins out and washes up and will sort out washing if i ask, but he's never going to come home and think 'oh, must put a wash load on and give the kitchen a once over'. I am using water bottles at the mo on the wii, but I think investing in some wrist and ankle weights might be the way forward.
  • missy, the upping of the intensity is a logical solution. I need to find a way to make it work with my lifestyle though - the only way i can make time for exercise is to get up earlier in the morning - i'm away practically everyweekend; i work 5 days and 2 nights, plus i have to do the food shop one night a week so doing anything other than eat and then bed of an evening is not an option. So i get up early to use the wii fit. And i know this will sound lame, but I don't know that I have time to shower and get dry every morning on top of exercise! any top tips for getting from sweaty to clean and dressed for work in under 10 mins? and then of course, how to up the intensity - i can't run or cycle and the baths doesn't open till 0830 when i'm meant to be at wrok. Part of me thinks i sound lame and looking for excuses, but really i'm not.

Been trying to think of things you can do KPC. I don't think you're making excuses as you are always buzzing around like a manic little bee and have many things juggling...the only two/three I've come up with probably won't be much use but thought I'd mention...

    1) trust in sw stick to plan like glue and acept it might be a bumpy ride..
    2) alter your portion sizes if they are a bit off...a friend of a friend lost weight by plating up her food then putting half of it back in the fridge for later or next meal (not sure how sciency this is though)
    3) start skipping everywhere like a manic kangeroo...see if you can fit any excercise into anything you already do.....put the washing in the washing machine combine it with squats....put every dish away as you wash it up (so multilple trips to the same cupboard etc)....thats the only way I can see you fitting more excercise in without sacrificing any time....

I did free step yesterday but did not watch the tele at the same time just watched my MII stepping:D did it to get to 800 but got to 796 and run out of time so to prove a point had to do it again and got the goal of 800, when it came on at first it automatically tells you goal-800 I was like  but managed it so that makes me competitive against the screen:rotfl: :rotfl: the remote clicks in time with the stepping on and off which makes you able to watch tv and do it at the same time supposedly , it is like the candle sit on the wii mat and watch the candle if it starts to flicker you are in trouble and it will go out I managed 59 seconds and thought:confused:

I am going to do aerobics today because my arms hurt like mad after all the yoga yesterday, my aim for today is to get passed OH on his hula hoops of 250 (I have 223) do the dancing steps get them up....

Yesterday I did 2 yoga positions where the trainer was saying 'where are you? the muscles won't train themselves you know' I was there doing it, giving it my best only to get 0 and called a couch potato:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: OH has showed me how to do them properly (no wonder they didn't stretch any muscles the way I was doing them:rotfl: )

I have to be competitive with either OH, the trainer on the WII or aim towards a hula hoop number because I can see it being very easy to come up with excuses to not do it and find myself very busy to fit it in:rotfl:

  • Hi everyone, great job on the chart BBelle. I am very impressed.

Also very impressed at the losses and how well everyone is doing. I weighed this morning and have a STS. Fairly happy with that as not had the best week. Caught a cold/fluey type thing off OH and haven't been to the gym last couple of days .

So well done to all, I'm gonna try and post a bit more frequently - always read every day but never post - tut tut!

    Bye all!!:T
