:j Congrats to ralph and her 'better' half lol:j

As predicted in my previous post the trainer was still in its box when I got home, swift kick to bottoms and it is now upstairs in my bedroom (I refuse to give my sons the pleasure of watching me!)

However....NO INSTRUCTIONS!! how the hell do you put the thing together? Fired off email to seller asking for help asap. Perhaps I can use the parts to do some weightlifting?

    xx

BB - swapping the columns around should take seconds, if you have any problems I'll happily do it for you - you know where to find me :)

KPC, I personally wouldn't use weights on my hands/wrists and ankles for any type of aerobic exercise including wii jogging and step (and even walking) - but this could be me being over cautious as I'm concerned about joint damage & strain, and distorting my natural jogging form etc. I would rather increase my pace to get a better workout. Some say a weights vest or backpack is better if you must add weight for aerobics, because then it's not adding stress at the extremeties. As with most things there are arguments for and against though... in the end it's up to the individual to make an informed choice :)

I've done a 55 min bike ride today, leisurely pace, hilly-ish route. FFM I have altitude data for you here :p:p:p I wasn't too cold this time, think I've finally sussed the cycling wardrobe for when it's 0 degrees outside ;)

Oh, and I would like to challenge myself to neutralise the cost of a mountain bike :o I'd like to transform my cycling in the way I've transformed my jogging, and for that I need to take it off-road...

HHe started 7.30pm just taking a breather, could be a while yet before finish. Putting up lounge curtains which fell down over new year!!

Very big window, new brackets wont fit where old broken ones went, many trips up and down steps. Also involves hammer, hack saw and multiple screw drivers!!!:rotfl:
