    Someone please rescue me!!!

Please could someone kick me under my bum?

I think you should tell OH you want to come into the front room now, could he please put DS to bed in proper place.

Often blokes will say something like "you only had to ask" - so - just ask. I know it would be nice if you didn't have to, but hey ho - go for it.

Not sure it's a kick under the b.. that you need, but would like to thank you for the kutb that you gave me earlier encouraging me to do the HHE's - it's the most exercise I've done in ages and should see off the lbs I put on over Christmas.

  • BB I can't remember if you are doing the chart this week or waiting until next week.

I wonder if I could ask you to reset my total gain on the chart this week to 2.6lbs. This is because the previous 49-50lbs was my total weight loss and I would like to focus on 'maintaining' this year.

On Saturday I weighed 2.6lbs above my 'maintaining weight'. My gain last week was 1.6lbs.

    Hope that makes sense?

  • Hello sunlight :hello:

I'm certainly not advanced on the Wii Fit, I've only had mine since Friday. The best advice I can give is to get on it and have fun. After you have tried out the different types of exercise - aerobics, yoga, muscle, balance etc it will all begin to make sense.

Watch out for the jogging though, my calfs are killing me and I think it may have been that that caused it - I've only done 3 x 5 minute sessions (and on different days)

thanks vix found it in my WW points book was going to drink copious amounts of tomato juice as tomatoes it says are free but then OH said you would need masses to make a drink out of it and to buy it it will have additives and prob sugars which I will check on tomorrow whilst shopping so the idea is not taking off...

missy/ffm/x-raph when you exercise(not that I could ever keep up with the amounts you all do) the cals you burn do you use them as a deficit to eat more or do you eat the same but the exercise looses weight/maintains faster?

Well done to all the HHE I am loving the wii at the moment, especially with this awful weather not having to go out and a yoga trainer there in the living room fab:D sunlight just go for it, that is the beauty no one can see you, I need to buy some leggings or whatever you have on for yoga as the jeans is a nightmare to move in so I have to keep taking them off to get into the tree pose much to the amusement of the kids:rotfl: :rotfl: once you get started and on it you will become addicted, it is fab, so happy I got one for xmas, it really has boosted my self confidence because I can do what I like to the speed I like whenever I like and no one has to watch me not like the gym etc it is a revelation, love it:D

I am off to watch claire sweeney, can't see the reasoning behind the show but will watch, I MEAN let me eat all day every day what I want and watch the 2 stone and the rest pile on:rotfl: :rotfl:

*help* lol, i managed the cardio box, got some of the moves wrong but i'll get there. My new trainers didn't arrive so i'm doing it in this stupid pair of skechers i bought, they have a 2" thick foam sole and are backless, everytime i do i a kick i think they are going to fly off and hit something :rotfl: Welcome sunlight, i only just started exercising again at the weekend, the HHE are really helping me to get off my backside, my only advice is start off with a few minutes and gradually increase it.

  • victory - in the past I haven't really exercised 'big time', in the summer when I was cycling to work I did find that I got hungrier so I did compensate by having extra porridge. At the moment I am using the extra exercise to hopefully shift the extra lbs I gained over Christmas. I'm not as scientific as missy in adding up my 'exercise' calories, but will increase my food calories when I am maintaining so that I neither lose nor gain - if that makes sense.

I have problems with my slippery tracksuit bottoms when doing the tree pose. I also have a problem kicking the Christmas tree or piano stool :rotfl: Needless to say we don't have much room in our house.

I think the point of the Claire Sweeney programme will be that your weight/health will reflect what you eat - but not sure.

BB please put me down as no change this week ... then I can think of my current weight    as the start of the wonderful new positive healthy living programme that I'm undertaking.

PS I'll do the chart again in Febraury if no one else wants to .... but am VERY happy to leave it for few more months if someone else is keen.

Hi all  or should I say hola!

I haven't had much time online but I've got a whole two hours tonight, so I'm taking the opportunity to catch up a bit. Great to hear about the HHE's - it took me a while to figure out what it was, but then it all became clear.

    Hi to the newcomers :D

    Catch you again soon

Welcome to all the new peeps. I've been very good today both diet wise and exercise wise. I managed 40 mins on the Wii fit (new record for me):
    • Hoola - 7 mins (did the advanced today - kills the legs)
    • Boxing - 8 mins (advanced again but couldn't keep up with all the moves)
    • Step - 5 mins (getting into this now)
    • Jog/alternate fast walk - 8 mins (did 2p jog with son round the island, he managed to follow dog, it was the longest I have jogged so I slowed down to a fast walk now and again)
    • Balance 12 mins (I love these ones)
Hope everyone else managed their HHE. Im off for a rest now and yet more planning. I keep getting tutoring requests (recession!?) and because hubby's job is still unstable I feel I should take them on just in case. Anyway enjoy your evenings and take care.
    ;)
