    Morning!

Doing a HHA at 9.15 if anyone is available to join in?

1lb loss for me this week. I thought I'd be doing a bit better than that, but a loss is a loss, and it's going in the right direction. I didn't do much exercise last week, so think that's the key.

OK, off to do a run round the island on the Wii now!

Back later for a proper catch up.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

    :(

2kg gain for me this week:(

Serves me right as I didn;t do any exercise and just stuffed my face all week last week.

And to make me even more fed up, my scales are out. I was weighed at the doctors and my scales weigh 5 kg less than the docs! I know it will show the weight I lost and gained okay but the total............... I feel like giving up and being fat! But I know I need to loose for the kids sake.

Exercise is my biggest problem, fitting it in round the kids is a massive problem as DD is only 2 and I don;t have any family locally to look after her for me and DH is often late home from work, or will call to say hes staying away at short notice so I can;t even plan when I can go out

I was thinking about a wii fit as I can do this at home, with DD asleep or even when they both go to bed.

Sary, and all your others that use the fit........Is it really worth me spending the money? Have you guys really seen a difference?
The main reason I was thinking about this was even with some extras thrown in to keep the OH and kids happy (4 1/2y and 2!) and the wii fit etc I comes to about the same amount as a years gym membership. Now I would use the gym but as OH home time can be so erratic I think it would be money wasted if I could only use it once a week. At least with the wii everyone could use it and its there for me to use more often. Any advice, replies gratefully received...........

    a fed up fat mambury.....

oh, and the commando will prob have to stop in the summer as we are building an extention ourselves sp no childcare!!!!

  • Bleughhhhh, fffffft bleughhhhh. Roughly translated this means I've been up since 4 with severe tummy pains so bad I was passing out and had to get down on the bathroom floor to 10 /15 mins to stay safe. All delightful drug side effects:mad: . The plus side is at the mo I feel like I never want to eat again. In fact for one reason and another the last 24 hrs have been pants.
Haven't weighed this morning. Beyond caring at the mo:o . Lying in bed with laptop. So a STS please raph.
Still 'things can only get better':D .

Mambury - sorry you are disheartened, this is the post new year crisis time as I said the other day. Note other gains and sts's coming in.
Now is the time where how you respond will really makea differnce to th next year. Keep posting and try to wipe the slate and declare a day one. It is always going to be like this, stops and starts. Get back on the wagon (and stop to pick up me when your passing won't you:rotfl: )
    London - well done:T .
    FFGirl - excellent :T
Commiserations to the gainers (you kow who you are...)
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Well done on all the losers and STS's!

I'm off to England again tomorrow, got a 6pm train, so should get there after 11ish. I've made a docs appointment first though, I really cannot cope with the implant in my arm anymore!!
I've had it in 6months, and bled every.single.day. I guess the reason why you can't get pregnant on it is because it ruins your sex life. My breasts have started leaking milk(!!!) and I've now developed a bit of acne on my face which is depressing me, yet they won't just TAKE IT OUT, I have to get an app to DISCUSS it first. Jezus, they are making me suffer even longer.

Well the scales and the wii fit seem to say different amounts so I will meet in the middle with a 1lb loss. That gets rid of last weeks gain, and given that its been TOTM and I've been ill I guess I should be pretty happy with that. I am torn between taking it easy for a couple of weeks and recognising that I have a lot to do so just try to sts or trying to invent more hours in the day and have a real push to try and get into the next stone barrier (5lbs) which I know will give me a real sense of achievement.

Last time I was that weight it was due to doctor prescribed diet pills (if you are at least 2 stone overwieght and have a bad health prob they can prescribe them) which were supposed to reduce your appetite. It was a quick fix which didnt seem to work after a couple of weeks and I refused an increased dose. So basically, to get there through healthy hard work would feel great!

BB so sorry you are unwell, and yet still you are being so supportive to others. You are one of the people that really make this thread what it is, and I know the support you have given me has so far inspired me to avoid the pringles OH bought me as a "present"! So thanks for that.

Buttons what you are going through sounds awful, I hope you can make your doctor understand and that things get sorted for you soon x

Mambury, the wii sounds good if you have other family members that will benefit from it, or a cheaper alternative is a workout dvd, most are 30-40 mins long and its not a problem if you have to stop for ten minutes then come back. I hope you can find a solution somewhere :)

To everyone who is ill ((big hugs))
