Raph thanks for the chart unfortunately I had a 1lb gain this week not a loss. Which puts me at 1lb this month and 6.5lb in total.

Although I think I've worked out why I gained - a lot to do with butter on my toast every morning, I'd been ignoring it and I think it caught up with me!
  • :o:o:o:o:o I really really hate to tell you this Raph :o:o:o:o:o - my 5.5 pounds was a gain this week not a loss!:o:o:o:o:o:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:The total loss for me is correct though so it looks like you did take it off the total!

Less haste more speed next time :o
Sorry Marion, I think I just noticed the 5.5, and not the absence of the minus symbol :o corrected now.

  • mambury just think how many calories you're going to burn labouring on the extension! may be wise to get the freezer filled with bolognese sauce and chilli, that sort of thing though - you don't work to work up a sweat and be so knackered you reach for the pizza menu.

can't remember who it was saying they got tired of exercise videos/dvds - could you do a swap with someoine on here? I'm still really enjoying mine, but i'm sure the time will come i'm bored with it, or just need a change. MAybe if someone wants to swap they can post it on here and you can do it via pm?

bit of a pig out last night as were celebrating OH getting an overdraft on his business bank account. May sound a bit daft but he says it's ten years since anyone thought he was creditworthy, plus it shows that the bank have faith in his business so he's a happy bunny. try to get back on track today.

Well everyone I did it - 3 whole days at 100%, every single coffee, apple anything that I ate or drank has been [strike]diaryed diaried[/strike] put in the diary and I have been perfect. OMG I had so better lose weight on Monday! I know my signature is wrong but I am not going to change it untill after my next weigh in - just to keep my motivation up you understand:o:p Miracles do happen :rotfl::rotfl:

So yesterdays eating was EE again - I just put down my food here, I don't list my coffee, drinks of water squash etc.

Breakfast - Marions fabulous blueberry rice - 3 scan brans (free, 1.5 syns)

Lunch - Chopped up turkey, onions, peppers heated through with half a jar of Tiny Deol curryslim sauce served on a bed of rice. - (free, free, 3 syns)

snack - apples, plums and a banana

Dinner - Bolognaise Pasta Bake with peas and butternut squash - (3 syns ,free, free HEB cheese on top)

snack - Muller chocolate and cherry layer yogurt (2 syns)
Milk in coffees was my HEA

Looking forward to today, the big test of course will be the weekend. We have a friend arriving from Sweden who will be staying with us for a week. She is a young girl who I know has gained weight this year and is not very happy about it. I shall be cooking SW meals for her all week and see how she gets on with it, not sure if I will tell her or not! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Love

mambury I have to disagree, I guess it is from the side of being diabetic but I hear what you and bb say but the other angle is that with your MIL it is habit, she has got into a habit of feeding you all and you have the habit of accepting it all, habits can be broken, if your MIL was giving the kids sugar for breakfast thinking that maybe in the future it could lead to them being ill, whether it be diabetic, high cholestrol, high blood sugars, obesity, unhealthy, anything that could put their health in danger your MIL would immediately stop and everyone would accept it and stay away from the sugars etc.

It is always fantastic to have family meet ups etc, life is for living and feasts happen but they can be altered to be healthy, still just as much fun, still full of love and happiness but better for the health and longevity of everyone:D

My kids have sugars sweets junk etc but extremely rarely and as a treat, very small portions and maybe just once a week, just because I am diabetic they should not go without but then again I will do everything I can to make sure their diet is healthy well balanced so that they never have to inject insulin into them 4 times a day just to keep alive;)

buttons went to the co-op today for the egg sandwich but it was 375 cals and would not have that many cals with the soup and sugar free jelly as usual so left it saw the wraps but did not fancy them, they had WW sandwiches but at 4 1/2 points quite steep so having potato and leak soup in a mo x

Ha ha ! Not much chance of that, my nearest pizza takeaway is 15 miles from me! Even the nearest village is 5 miles!!

Victory - I totally agree with limitin kds eating junk food, we don;t have anything with nasty e numbers in the house as DS is verging on hyperactive. Even Pineapple (yes, fresh pineapple) sends him off on one! MIL WILL NOT feed my kids junk without asking me first as I let rip when she gave them choc so early in the morning. I do say no to her when she offers the 2nd and 3rd helping but for the sake of a few days I can;t be bothered withhe arguements over not having some pudding. Things are different when they come to stay here, its my house, my rules :D

Even FIL has biscuits in bed with a cup of tea EVERY morning before breakfast. Its how they live and I can't preach to them about that can I? I would be very upset if they started going on about what I do in my house.

I will try to be good, and start afresh next week wit renewed enthusiasm and vigor. I PROMISE............. PLEASE KICK ME UP THE BUM AS I NEED IT!:p

BB I hope you are feeling better?????

Raph - ta for the chart!

Whoops!! Sorry about that, they did have a lower cal one, a while ago, it was on brown bread, and most of them now are on white.

I wish my DD would eat healthy. The reason I learned to cook from scratch was for her benefit, but my mum kept feeding her sweets and lollypops on the sly, as she was down to mine most days for a while. I'd say NO don't give her that, I'd be out the room doing whatever, and I'd come back and Keira would have a lolly/chocolate bar. I used to go MENTAL, before that we never gave Keira sweets and she loved her food.

She gradually went from eating most things to hardly anything, clamps her mouth shut and screams if you give her something that she dosen't like the look of.

All she will eat now is -

    Chicken nuggets (thanks mum)
    Mashed Potato (now and then)
    Noodles
    Curry (now and then)
    Plain rice
    Cheerios
    Toast
    Yoghurt
    Apple/grape/banana when the mood strikes.

I'm at my wits end but by making it a battle it probably makes it worse *SIGH* She's a perfect weight though, and is constantly on the go, just wish she'd eat a bit of veg and proper meat!

    Kids!

On another note, I'm supposed to be going to Darlington tonight, but it's STILL snowing here in Aberdeen,I've checked the railway and there seems to be a lot of delays, which is rubbish because I've only got a 10minute switch over in Edinburgh and my train is the last of the day. So if it goes without me, I'm stranded there? Or they will shove me on a megabus? LOL. Hate the snow!
