Yea, but i love being brought underwear! People think because i work in it i never want to be given any. Total opposite! Its such a joy, even though not many people see it.
I think i should design some, get more padding into debenhams!
Beanie: it has grounded but looking at it its a bit sleety snow. Still, things have gone white so i wont complain!0 -

Even if I wasn't trying to loose weight I'm on a lingerie ban as I have enough to start a small store of my own. I've got my fingers crossed that I don't change size.
Vix - I love being bought it but am fairly specific about what I'd like from where!0 -

i remember reading somewhere that kids have to try something 7 times before they'll like it. of coyrse thats a little awkward if they've got their mouths clamped shut. I also remember reading about a family where the son just wouldn't eat veg at all - one of hte parents came up with this thing whereby everyweek they made a thing trying a veg or fruit for eah letter of hte alphabet. I think it wasn't at a meal and they put it forward as if it didn't matter whether they ate more of it or not, the trick was try it and then write what they thought of it on a wall chart with a picture.
anyone any suggestions ast o what i can do with most of a tub of buttermilk that I bought for making some burgers? Searching the t'internet just brings up scones, scones and more scones and that wouldn';t be the cleverest of ideas would it?0 -

Morning:D snow here again:D
I always buy my own lingerie because I get the bargains and he just buys:rolleyes: he once bought me a £50 bra and £40 bottoms, I made him take it back without so much as trying it on, ungratefull you may feel but in these times £90 on something I could get for less than a £10 is not on:rotfl: :rotfl:

Thought you guys might life my pancake recipes - I have posted it on the slimming world thread but there may be a couple on here that don't go to that one! They are syn free on slimming world and for those of you counting calories - just the count of the egg I guess! I normally make a 3 high stack and they taste exactly like pancakes - lovely!:j
1 Egg per pancake
2-3 Teaspoons sweetener (depending on own taste)
3-4 Drops of vanilla essence
First separate the white from the yolk and put into separate bowls, Whisk the egg white until fluffy and add the sweetener, In the other bowl add the vanilla essence then fold the yolk into the egg white
Heat a frying pan with frylight, add the mix and spread as you would a normal pancake after a few mins flip over (But do be careful they are much more delicate than a regular pancake) And then Hey presto scrummy syn free pancakes
You could add cinnammon, strawberries or fruits of the forest as an alternative once cooked. I always add blueberrys with a spoonful of creme fraiche (low fat of course) and drizzle a tbsp of blueberry syrup over the top for a treat! When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -

Good morning all - this is day 4 of my 100% plan and it is getting a little weird being so good:D The big test will be the weekend, especially with company coming tonight, but I am feeling very confident!
Yesterday I had:
Breakfast - egg, bacon and hashbrowns - (free, free and 3 syns)
snack - couple of yellow plums and an apple
Lunch - Leftover pasta bake with added baked beans and baby tomatoes (free)
snack - hifi bar with one of my many daily coffees (heb, hea)
Dinner - Roast lamb, butternut squash, carrots, peas and mashed potato with raspberries, strawberries and 0% Total for dessert (all free:D) Later on I had a mini skinny cow ice cream sandwich but I couldn't find a syn value for it so will count it as 5 as that is what most of their bars are, so (5 syns)
I have kept below 10 syns since Monday, I am allowed 20 so will have up to 20 on the weekend if desired, this may help me control the weekend a little better:j
Love

Sary, and all your others that use the fit........Is it really worth me spending the money? Have you guys really seen a difference?
Mambury - I personally found the wii fit to be of limited use as a fitness tool and gave up after five months, but my son loves the wii and he uses the balance board for other games so it wasn't a waste of money.
I'm on my own with my son, and when it's the school holidays things do get a little more challenging exercise-wiseMy old post here summarises how I manage to keep things going! (I know your DD is too young at the moment for some of the stuff I've mentioned).
I'd also say don't let the weather stop you getting out for a walk (except in extreme or dangerous circumstances, obviously). Bad weather isn't as prohibitive as lack of childcare or lack of moneyIt can be surprisingly invigorating! Not to mention the more challenging the walking conditions, the more calories you're likely to be burning!
Sarymclary - I nodded all the way through your post number #1958I go to gyms occasionally on PAYG/offers/vouchers but there's no way I'd go enough to make a membership justifiable. Haven't paid for a swim for ages (good old Kelloggs Free Swim vouchers!!!)
Hope everyone's doing OK and looking forward to a good weekend. I have my first proper official monthly weigh in tomorrow! (January's one wasn't a full month). Pretty confident I've maintained give or take half a pound! :j0
