Hope everyone had a good day yesterday ... very quiet on here.

Weighed in this morning and exceptionally pleased to announce a 4lb loss :j :j :j Have also dropped into the next stone and am over halfway to my target. Downside is I have one less WW point to play with but as I can only stick to them strictly at weekends I don't think it's that much of a hardship.

Thats a fabulous loss Vixstar!!:beer::beer::beer:

just a quick pop in to stay in touch but no time to catch up proper. Was away at parents fri even and yesterday. Bails is in town and is coming round in a couple of hours so I am in the middle of a much needed clear out, sort and clean:D . Sometimes it is good to have a reason to get on with it.
I will of course be showing off the 'new' kitchen' and will expect ooh's and ahhh's of wonder.

    Catch up properly later.
    xx

Thanks KPC, I much prefer the thigh myself although my husband doesn't. He says he is a breast man all the way. Boy is he ever going to be disappointed when I get to goal! :rotfl::o. By the way the thighs cooked very well on the Forman grill, didn't stick at all!

Had to read your post twice as I vaguely assumed you were talking about Rugby or Footballers - it was the thigh thing that threw me. Rugby players are definately better to watch - its all about the thighs! and they don't throw hissy fits when another player comes near them!

Been quite bad yesterday as had my first two glasses or red wine in ages and consumed several L'artisan du Chocolat pink pearl chocs - yummy - white choc hint of strawberry - chapel down fizz flavour - melt in your mouth need I say more. Ended up with a headache and indigestion - serves me right!

When is a cake not a cake - in my humble opionion a choc teacake does not count as cake - this was thursday afternoons office debate (well it was lunchtime). The Director insisted that as M & S had won the vat war - teacakes were cakes not biscuits. I stated that if he invited me for afternoon tea I would be completely disappointed to be offered choc teacakes and not proper cake - eg lemon drizzle cake etc - stated this quite strongly and began to get quite strange looks.

Have obviously been on this diet kick way too long I am begining to dream of cakes and desserts, roll on May hols I intend to eat Key Lime Pie till i'm sick of it.

Then obviously diet like mad for my daughters wedding in October!!!!

    Wow well done Vixstar!

I have decided to declare war on my body. Yet again another sts this week, its been 4 weeks now and I've lost absolutely nothing. I thought that by upping my exercise and cutting out most of the bad food then the weight would start to come off. How wrong I was. Maybe it's because I've had 2 kids or because I'm a little bit older and my body just doesn't respond like it used to. So.....as of tomorrow I will exercise every day (whether at home or the gym) and I will make sure that everything I eat is because I am hungry and even then it will have to be healthy.

I'm hoping other people know how I feel, I'm disgusted with myself but yet don't seem to really do anything about it. Losing weight can be a horrid vicious circle and I'm determined to get out of it. My job involves health promotion and I need to practice what I preach and kick my own butt. I don't write on here very much, just everytime I weigh myself but maybe I should log in more often too?

Anyways...well done to everyone who's still losing, maintaining or just trying. I hope that next week I'll be reporting a loss.:D

Hi all, going for a HHA in a mo, not been posting them much lately as no-one seems to be around to join in :( I hope you are all sticking to your weight loss plans even if you aren't posting :T Anyone seen Polkadot, FFM or Annie, they all seem to have vanished

Simbalou, good luck on your war, remember it takes more than one battle to win it ;) Please post more, it will help motivate you :j

Simbalou I agree with nmm post more on here for support and motivation. Maybe recording what you've eaten or what exercise you've done.
