Afternoon all. 1 lb loss please Raph.
Its freezing, snow that fell last night is slowly melting. On the subject of lingerie, I have to say that even though I very big girl I do like nice lingerie, I have draws full, I think it helps me feel better about meself. I also like nice nightwear.
On the subject of valentines day. I just found a receipt (accidently) for the chocolate society in london, HELP, hubby has obviously got me my favourite dark choccy. Can anyone tell me how many cals in 75% dark choc, please. Because yes I will eat it, a little at a time.:rotfl:0 -
Morning:D snow here again:D
I always buy my own lingerie because I get the bargains and he just buys:rolleyes: he once bought me a £50 bra and £40 bottoms, I made him take it back without so much as trying it on, ungratefull you may feel but in these times £90 on something I could get for less than a £10 is not on:rotfl: :rotfl:
I have alos got red for tomorrow.
I see your point, and it depends where its from but with underwear costing £70 odd you do get what you pay for big time.
My mum in a rigby bra, and my mum in a fantasie bra is quite obvious. You can just tell, or maybe i can but you can see the difference visually. Although if matt bought me bras costing that i would take them back too, 32C in any bra works well.
Mammories: Debenhams megaday is on the forth of march, pop in as early in the morning as you can! 20% off the lot. Might even be some half price ones, i know there is a panache one in it, we had a new fantasie one in yesterday that is gorgeous, im hoping that will go half cos i love it!0 -
Hi guys, £50 for a bra  i thought £20 for a wonderbra was expensive :rotfl: I wait for the sales and get them for £10

Hi I've been recommended this thread (thanks Beanilou) and from spending some time reading the posts I'm really impressed with the support and help you all give each other.
I'm in my LBM with my weight and I need help and support to turn the situation around. As you can see from my sig we're on the last bit of our DF journey and now is the time to tackle my weight.
I'm currently 38lbs overweight   and this is not good. Last time I was at this weight was when I had my youngest who is now approaching 5. The realisation that I am now this heavy again has seriously scared me. I feel sluggish, lethargic and I'm can't fit into a whole wardobe full of clothes and clearly I can't afford to get anything new.
So I'm aiming for a slow gentle weight loss, 1lb a week to get me to my target weight at the end of the year. This is will be more or less when we get DF as well so big celebration
How am I going to do this. Exercise will be the key. I want to aim to do some proper exercise 3 times pw (running, swimming, a exercise class) plus I've a dog which needs walking daily so that 7 times per week (I don't do it now my OH does) will help as well.
Eating. Well I eat healthily apart from when I eat too much. I have trigger points like when I come in from work with the kids and even as I am getting tea ready I can eat a load of biccies without even thinking about it. I need to stop this happening and in conjunction with the exercise - BINGO - I'm there.
So thats is my weight loss plan in a nutshell. It won't be easy I know but if i post up my progress it should help me get there.

Vixarooni - you made me laugh with your online chat (to yourself!) I am a self-confessed underwear addict! I have some of the most gorgeous underwear in an array of colours. I particularly like Lepel, Charnos and Freya for fit on me. I'm in an E cup, so I need good scaffolding!! I once spent over £100 on a bra & 2 pairs of knickers! I've still got them now, and they still look lovely, and I've worn them loads, so I felt it was a justified indulgence. I'd love to have a fitting at Rigby one day, and enough cash to buy some of their sets.
Marion- I'm so impressed with you following your plan to the letter still. Well done! It looks like you're well and truly back in the saddle now, and I'm sure you'll find the weekend a doddle.
WH DFW - welcome to the thread! We're a nice bunch here, and you'll find lots of support. I could have written your post! I also have a wardrobe full of clothes I've grown out of. I'm doing the same as you, making steady progress throughout the year to reach my goal. I see it that I'm making this journey just the once, so I might as well end up at the destination I want, and while it may seem difficult some days, I don't want to have to do it again and again, so I stick with it.
Well, I've not done the Wii fit today, but I have been doing some housework and general house stuff.
I've been having poor sleep, which is affecting my energy levels, and I've been craving carbs, presumably to combat the symptoms. I've done my best to ignore them!
Food today:
B - crumpets (OK, carb laden, but low cal)
L - HM veg soup. sugar free jelly & 75g natural fat free yoghurt
Snack - HM flapjack (OK more carbs, but they have nuts & fruit & oats!)
D - 3 quorn sausages, mixed veg
The carbs do take up a lot of calories I realise now, and that means I'm sat here feeling rather hungry, but I won't give in. I don't eat after dinner anymore, as that's an old habit of snacking that I had.
The weekend beckons, and I need to resist the usual bacon butties tomorrow, which I have to cook, and love, but really can't have right now.
Here's looking forward to those milder temperatures forecast for next week. I'll be dusting off my bike I reckon! One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Morning:D started the day with the most horrendous row with OH , oh happy valentine's day:rotfl: :rotfl: being a man more content with sleeping in and not bothered to go the extra mile to get up and cook breakfast, bring it on a tray, no, just huff and puff, so I got my usual porridge with berries on and ate that, he got his and now we don't talk, because as far as I can see he has put no effort into the day whatsoever, asked him what we are doing today and he just shrugged, uhm, I reckon he can put his jethro tickets where the sun don't shine:rotfl:
Anyway down no calories so far, no cooked brekkie and no ferrero rochers so bonus there then:D looks as if I will be having soup for lunch:D0
