Well done retiredlady, I'd be over the moon to lose 1.5lbs but I understand what you mean when you have been so good over the week and are half expecting a bigger loss.

I'm sticking to my word and am going to post on here everyday with what I've done. Rediscovered foodfocus so have logged my days eating and activity on there and if I stick to it I've got just over 400 calorie left for after tea when the munchies hit. I've also walked to work this morning (2miles) and obviously have to walk back home at some point too so thats another 2 miles. If I get home before OH and kids then I'll sneak in half hour of Wii fitness coach too for good measure.

Thanks everyone for your support and I'll hopefully be back tomorrow to keep me on straight and narrow!

Well I did well last week with my 100% self challenge so will be going for it again this week. It was actually easier than I thought it was till I fell ar*e over tip into the feeding trough Friday night!:o:o:o But I did get back the very next day and the one after that so for me that is extremely good going!!

    Yesterday I had

Breakfast - 3 syn free pancakes with blueberries, vlf fromage frais sweetened with splenda on the top with a tbsp of blueberry syrup drizzled over the top (free, free 2 syns)
Lunch/Dinner - Roast loin of pork roasted whole till done. I then cut all the fat off and seperated into chops, put back into the Remoska and put about a cup of tomatoe and basil sauce with a bit of extra chilli hot sauce on top to spice it up a bit, cooked like that for about half an hour. It came out so tender and lovely tasting with mashed potatoes, carrots, peas and brocolli. (All free except my portion of the sauce - 3 syns). For dessert I had a meringue with fresh blueberrys and sweetened 0% Total and blueberry muller over the lot (2.5 syns)

Had supper around 8pm as I had eaten so much at lunch time I really wasn't hungry!
Supper - Toasted bacon and tomato sandwich with 300g McCains oven chips (heb, free, 3 syns)

My Swedish guest is enjoying my cooking and can't believe we are allowed to eat so much! Now if I could just get those crisps and chocolates away from her:rotfl:

Can someone please answer a quick question, im due to go to a Rosemary
Conley class for the first time tonight. I have just went and got a GI jeans diet
book to see what its all about and it says for the first 2 weeks, no alcohol
is to be consumed. This really does not appeal to me, usually when I do weight watchers I save points to drink my vodka and diet tonic at weekend. Am I wasting my time joining this class? Could do with your help as I was going pay for six weeks in advance tonight

I'm doing this one but on my own, not at a class. I'm not doing the first 2 weeks "kick start", and I think you can start with the main diet. If you can't live without alcohol for 2 weeks then either not do the kick start or do a different diet. Why not have a word with the instructor at the class tonight before you hand over any money. Hope this helps a bit :o

  • Thanks, i know its sad but working in a stressful job i like my drink at the weekend. They have a special offer on the now for free membership but when i emailed the instructor she said to get that I had to sign up for six weeks. I will go tonight and ask my concerns before handing over my money. How are you finding the main diet, is it easy to follow, I have done Weight Watchers before which I found easy enough, but there is no class near me on a Monday which is the only day I can go

    Well done on your loss.

I am laying odds on being either STS or plus something, am absolutely craving food at present - anything sweet savoury I don't care!!! Even tried on smaller size of jeans in debenhams to motivate myself - didn't work. Will have to take drastic action and photo myself in underwear and put photo on kitchen door!

Actually really fancy liver, onions, gravy and mash (showing my age here!)

Oh yes and the teacakes were like Tunnocks - marshmallow, biscuit and choc covering. Not teacakes as in toasted yumminess with butter etc - can't remember when I had one of those last.
