littlegirllost - I find the main diet quite easy to follow. But if you want variety in your main meals it does cost a bit. We seem to have the spag bol, chicken jalfrezi and creamy tom pork most of the time :D . I have most of her books so when I get bored I tend to just swap to another one...

It may be worth going to the classes for 6 weeks, if you can afford it, especially as they've got the special offer, or just change your job :rotfl: . Good luck tonight.

retiredlady - well done :T , a loss is a loss, no matter how small :A

The cheek of it! That's an assumption.
    A correct one though:rotfl: .
    Woohoo, purplevamp -I've got a stalker:D . I've finally arrived. And she's straight in with helping another newbie:T .
dmv - hope you are suffering a little less this evening.

I'm relaxing after painting 2 coats of paint on my 2 kitchen walls this afternoon.
On topic, the good news is that I haven't demolished a whole pkt of biscuits for about a month now. This is progress. The down side is I am having my annual muesli cravings.
Why does one never have a celery craving?
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
  • Bit late reporting in - 0.8lb gain on 14876 calories.

This puts me at 3.2lb over the weight I want to maintain at. This seems to be a bit of a trend and I know it is due to me losing the will to moderate my eating. I need to find my motivation - but don't know where to look

Weekends are always higher calorie days and I accept that, but during the week I can usually 'behave'. Mon - Weds went well, then on Thursday the fish and chips kicked in because I worked late and felt like some stodge/carbs/fat - that would not have been too bad but the evening then included biscuits and chocolates. Friday wasn't much better as I went out for lunch with OH (kids at school) and even though I had steak, chips and treacle tart, I still had dinner of turkey curry (plus more chocs).

This weekend was worse than normal (more chocs) - not helped by the fact that Tesco's reduced their 455g pink boxes of chocs down from £4.99 to £1.24 (yes, I did buy a few boxes) - so now I have a house full of temptation and no will power.

Oh, and I munched through a whole bag of licorice allsorts (750 cals) in one sitting.

I am not at work all this week as it is half term, so it will probably be a high calorie week - watch out for the gain next weekend.

    FFM :)

    or a lettuce craving...
  • Missy, well done on your maintaining - that is really great - I need to take a leaf out of your book. I'm in danger of 'losing it' and am struggling to hang on in.

nmm - sorry I haven't been around - I think it is guilt that kept me off this thread - I need to face up to it and tackle it.

    TTFN FFM :)

  • Have a hug Beanie :grouphug: it's not easy all this - and I don't think the dull weather helps - a bit of sunshine would probably lift our spirits and help our focus.

I love beetroot - at least it's low in calories.

Put me at a STS this week please (again!)

OH got me a nice little fluffy dog and a card for Valentines, we don't really go all out for it, but he has ordered me something which should come in the post tomorrow, having to stop myself looking at his online banking to see what it is!

I was actually away for Valentines (as it isn't a big deal to us) and a big group of us went to Windermere in the Lake District for 2 nights, which was really good fun, good food, good booze and beautiful sceanery! I was hammered one night and ran about half a mile (First time I've ran since I was 13 :p ) and woke up the next day with one of my knees swollen, doh! It still hurts now hehe.

Jumped on the scales and they are showing 12,12 still so I'm happy with that since I ate, pub lunches, chocs, kebab:o and other naughtys. I'm actually quite pleased knowing I can have a pig out and not GAIN Weight, because maintaining when I'm at goal weight is what it's all about!

Pleased to note my acne is clearing up a bit (I think it's the implant doing it!) It's just a little bit on my cheek but I hate it all the same, though I'm still bleeding every day, worst thing is the constant chocolate cravings, though the doctors have given me another pill to try so I'll see if that helps it, give it a month or two to kick in (though I notice my boobs are bigger already:rolleyes: - Not that OH minds)

Took my little one back an omnitrix from Ben 10, and she was soooo chuffed, except when she started crying because she didnt turn into an alien :rotfl: She's only 2 1/2 but she seems to understand the show quite well, I'm just glad I don't have to watch Mr tumble anymore!

That seems to be my news anyways!

Glad to hear about your loss Marion, 1.5lbs is nothing to be sniffed at :T

Well done to all the other STS and losers:j

Oh don't feel guilty or down, its another step in the journey. Confession time, i still eat a chocolate bar every night, have done since i was a kid and i wonder why i can't shift the weight :( I've got it into my head if i exercise it makes up for it :rotfl:

FFM you were very positive during our HHA sessions maybe try and come back for a few of them. One or two times a week would be better than nothing, maybe it'll get you motivated to think more about the food side of it. Tell me a good time for you and i'll join you for a HHA session, OH will just have to put up with me [strike]puffing and wheezing[/strike] kicking and punching :rotfl:

Beanie, ((hugs)) it's started to warm up here and i hope it continues so we can all get out and about again. Trike?? i presume you mean a pedal one or are you a biker at heart?

For all that need it buttkick.gif
