NMM: It might be that the bra is just made a bit more tighter if you are trying different makes. I would say get a 34B and see what that does. Remember that the band is meant to be pretty tight, there should be marks left where its been and you shouldnt be able to pull it very far away from your back at all!

Or wack a tape measure around your band, as tight as you can pull it till you cant pull it no more, then tell me what that number says! Make sure its straight all the way around and you pull tight! I work in cm's so tell me it in cm's if you can.

The book is really good and the film great also, I heard on the news yesterday that 67% of adults have never writen a love letter so I have done OH one, wrote him a poem, bought a VD card, found some VD crackers from a sale some years ago in the attic never used, no idea what is in them but hey they have red hearts all over them and come with balloons and red heart cut outs:D then I I went to the local theatre and they are going to have jethro the comedien on, not for me but OH loves him so got 2 tickets in the wheelchair section which reduces the cost to £13.50 each ticket, put them inside the booklets of forthcoming events so he will be chuffed with that.

Years ago in a charity shop I bought a leather bound MENU holder, looks very smart in dark brown leather, cost next to nothing but have used that to list the menus in and it is great.

We had some fab photos taken at OH xmas ball so bought from Wilkinsons a £2 reduced large glass photo frame to put it in and make them look special.

From Asda a while ago I got steak heavily reduced so will make that with new pots etc for dinner and then we shall go to the cinema on the unlimited card, all in all a cheap way to do things:rotfl: :rotfl:

Goodness you are romantic Victory - your husband is a lucky man. :D I remember years ago when we were young, had a mortgage and kids so money was very tight, - on Valentines day my husband took me to the most expensive card shop in town and showed me the card that he would have bought if he could afford it. He knew exactly where it was so I could tell he had been in looking them over carefully. When ever I get seriously pi**ed off with him I remember that day, and I calm down a little!

This year (we have been married 39 years in July) we have decided to make our own cards - but from stuff we have around the house! Should be interesting as I notice he has been looking at some of my girly magazines them shutting them when I come in the room. I pretend not to notice :D;)... tee hee!

We won't do the present thing because to be honest have no idea what to get but I saw a potato at the market that was heart shaped so I bought that and will make him a heart shaped jacket potato for his lunch on Saturday!

    Love

Should the band be super tight? I'm always worried about back fat overhang if I put my bras on the tightest notch! I'm clueless about Bra sizes, 38DD at La senza, and a D at ann summers. Stoooopid

    Hello All!

Had a busy morning, doing the weekly shop - always quietest day @ Sainsburys here - spent a lot less this week too! Found some good bargains though, half price dishwasher tablets, and value honey is a snip of a price compared to other brands. Has anyone else noticed how meat seems to expensive these days? Is it cheaper at an independent butcher I wonder? I may do some research.

So, returned to have my breakfast, put shopping away, mad tidy up, hoovering, washing kitchen floor, etc. Then arranged to go to see a friend, and to pop into my own house nearby to light a fire ready for us when we go there this evening (I live between mine/boyfriends house, but moving into his this year). Had a lovely chat and a laugh with my friend.

Returned to collect children from school, and made a lasagne once home. I put in lots of extra veggies in mine, and it tasted wonderful, even if I do say so myself.

So, here's my food plan for today:
    B - porridge
L - yoghurt, 1 banana, portion of sliced apples
    Snack - h/m flapjack
    D - lasagne

Probably not such a low calorie day today, but I believe I've kept within my limits, and my portions have been small.

Tomorrow I have plans to make a beef casserole. Not had one for ages, so quite looking forward to that. I've bought extra veg to put in it too (swede, carrots, parsnip, mushrooms, onion, etc.).

Marion, I bet it feels great feeling back in control of your meal planning again. I know when I plan mine in advance I always do better.

All this talk of Valentine's. My OH & I have been skint for too many years it seems, that we tend to rarely do anything. I've got OH a card, and a bag of his favourite rum & rasin fudge. I've bought my 2 youngest boys a chocolate shaped heart on a stick from Thorntons, on offer @ 74p. I looked at the steak in the s/mkt today, but at nearly £10 for a decent portion/cut I decided against it! Ah well, he knows I love him, and I know he loves me, so who needs anything else?

OK, off to gather up my bits & pieces here to ship us off to my house for tonight. They just need to stick a set of castors on my bum at the mo, I seem to be to and fro so much!
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home
