Well done Dragon - 4lbs is a fantastic loss for one week, and well done nmm and buttonmoons. Hugs Marion - you are very good at getting back on track and it sounds as if you've analysed the situation and found a good solution.

Fredsnail --- what a diffcult week -- those poor people in Australia.

I survived the chinese meal -- still must have eaten about a gazillion calories and I don't even LIKE chinese all that much. There should be some special dispensation for having to eat to be polite. And also a special rate of calorie burn for walking in the pouring rain (which I am just about to do).

Nice post BB, really boosted my spirits :)

Marion, sorry about the gain but you have been stuck indoors due to the snow and poor charlie is probably dying for some walks, hehe. I'm sure you'll be back on track next week.

Well done dragon, have you done the monthly challenge already then ?? :T

Oh god, my scales have died, well the battery. WHY does it not take AA's, or ya know a battery most people keep in the house. Where do I buy a 3v large lithium battery?!! Don't think morrisons would sell that.....

Could of killed OH when he got home, he had stopped by the supermarket and brought home doughnuts, chocolate digestives, pringles. Grrrrrr. I'm now sitting foaming about eating them. I swear he wants me to stay fat!

    I love pringles :(

buttonmoons, buy the lithium batteries from ebay, you get 10 for like £1-£1.50 just get the code off the battery, eg CR2032. Or maybe pound shops something like that, they are very common these days, calculators, watches, even your pc uses them ;)

Vix, the bra expert ;) what size do you need when your cup is a half inch, i guess you would go bigger? I bought a bra in my usual size and its too small, so i thought i better measure again.

NMN: are you saying that your boob sticks out half an inch? or your boob is hanging out by half an inch? I would say pop in and get yourself properly measured because you can never do yourself. Losing weight normally means you lose it around your back first as well as your bust so you might find you need to go down a band size and up 2 cup sizes.

So like if youre size 16 you should (roughly) wear a size 36/38 band, then try going up the cup! In accordance.

Oh and always try a bra on!!!!!!!! tut tut. How do you know how rubbish that bra will make your boobs look? The amount ive tried on and they have not looked right, wouldnt have known if i didnt try on.

My brother has just been up to visit his girlfriend in Newcastle. Shes talking to me saying theyre planning on him to move up there later on this year :(

Im quite sad about it, our family consists of 8 people - including matt - who see each other every week and now hes going to go :( I thought i wouldnt be that miffed, but now its turning into more of a reality i am. She wants a baby and im so sad for my parents who are going to miss out greatly on their first grandchild. My dad has parkinsons and his mobility is quite limited, trips there and back all year isnt really much of an option for him.

Then at the same time im happy hes found someone. Its a weird one.

anyway, needed to get it off my small (yet a good amount i like to think) chest.
