Gah~we have yet more snow here tonight ~ not a snow lover me,sigh.
HAVe been HHSS all day!
MArion - ah the pitfalls of SW,you just can't get away with the unaccounted for extra:rolleyes: . Still, you always do learn Marion don't yoi. And youknw you will get this off again very soon.
Great to hear you enthused about the DVD's kpc. And as ever goodto hear everyones general enthusism and support.
Of course we are getting to that time of the year (6 weeks since new year) when the inital drive of new year resolutions may be wearing a bit thin and we will beseeing a few more sts and the odd lb on. This is normal folks, try not to be discouraged, just reapply what works for you and get back on.
As one of the longer term members now, I think other 'old timers' will testify with me, that long term sucess, of losing, maintaining, (or at least not putting it all back on even if we put a little on) is down to staying on this forum.
You will notice already that we have alost a few of out keen newbies (please come back: I suspect they may have put a lb or 2 on and given up(not a criticism xx)). Staying as part of this forum makes a huge differnce to long term sucess. You will get bouts of when it all feels too much effort and you lose the drive, but keeping with us keeps a level of focus ticking over until you are ready to kick start yourself again.

Hi,
Just reporting that I have STS this week. But considering I have just returned from a week's holiday it is hardly surprising. Must do better, but it is so cold I don't feel like being 'healthy'.

I want to work with young children, so primary pgce definitely seems to be the way to go. Glad you enjoyed the meal, imagine it was an eye opener after all your healthy food tho!
Yea... if i ate healthy food!! Im such a lazy eater, anything quick does me well. I literally eat a small selection of foods often and i'd be telling porkies if i said it mainly consisted of fruit and veg!0 -
I am going to change the way I do things a bit and see if that helps. I think that EE is a brilliant plan but I think the thing is when you are on Red or Green and you play around with the diet abit you will still lose weight. If you are on EE you can not play around with it - if you do you will gain weight! Simple as really! I have been playing around with it and got my fingers well and truly burned:o:p
Instead of posting my menu plans on here in advance, I will post the following morning a synopsis of what I actually ate - instead of what I planned on eating! Generally speaking I do follow my plans 100%, however there are always a few extras that get put in that I promptly forget all about and then get surprised when I get on the scales, although I do sometimes get flashbacks about it - especially when the consultant asks if I have been 100% and I say yes:rotfl::o:o
Thanks for all the support guys
Love

Sometimes a change is all you need marion. Im sure there is a song along those lines!
Everyone has their own way that has worked for them, normally a long course of doing things wrong to work out what works right! Ive just realised of late that i need to let go of the feeling im not meant to be a size 8, and that i can eat whatever in moderation. Im a woman, im meant to have curves, bigger curves than some but still curves!
I went to dover today for the meeting. Had to be late didnt i. Grr. Wardrobe malfunction but made an excuse i got lost (which i did) but just not that lost heh. It was fab, be great to teach the new poeple cos i hate being the newbie.
BB: Snacking on raw veg? lord, thats torture not a snack!0 -
Buttons - well done on your STS
Dragon - Wow! 4lbs is great
Marion, I think we can all relate to those unaccounted for extras in our days sometimes. It is a good lesson for us all to learn, that we do have to stay focussed, and keep tabs on everything we eat to keep within our plan.
I stayed at my BF's last night, so didn't get my weigh in this morning (don't like his scales as they vary so much, altho' a peek at them did show me 2lb lighter than before, but who can tell with them?), so I should be able to do a weigh in at mine first thing tomorrow.
Victory - I was there with you at 9.30 doing the Wii Fit. I'm rather interested in getting the My Fitness Coach game for it, as I gather that gives a more fluid exercise plan. I unlocked all the yoga sections now, and am completing the suggested workouts too. I did a short jog, the faster step, hula, balance games, and most of the muscle workouts & yoga workouts too. Just over an hour's worth of exercise. I needed to stop, because I was starving - I do it before I eat my breakfast. Have you done the shoulder stand exercise? Wow - I couldn't believe I could get my legs over my head like that!! Not a pretty sight! he he
Food so far:
B - porridge
L - veg/beef soup, yogurt & tinned apple
Not decided what to have for tea yet.
Back later chaps! One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -

:T on your progress about size 8 - very few are 'naturally' that size, (without mega exercise like missy loves, and is therefore good for her). You will live a much happier and healthy life enjoying your curves and as you say, being the woman you are. And it will be great for Matt and your relationshiop too.
Sounds good marion.
oh, forgot earlier::j dragon:DI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
jane don't think of the food you eat as 'heathly' or 'unhealthy', lots of people associate salad with torture or if someone eats a cracker in front of you it is always 'oh, so you are on a diet then?' just think of it as an energy booster(we all feel better eating the right things and get no nutritional value, heaps of fat, cals, sat fat out of the bad things) a way of life, the best thing to do for your health, your longevity, for the future not to have so many illnesses, etc, think of it as feeding your body with the best there is rather than wanting to feed it with poor foods that will make you feel run down, work slower, tire you more and generally not needed
dragon:j :j :j
marion I for one am going to miss your days food;)
bb great post:D
sary thanks for the company:D I was on and off it for 1 hour and half,I really want to get all the gold stars on each of the bits on the wii fit before I think of buying my fitness coach, I know people have and they enjoy the way you don't have to keep stopping the yoga etc but I want to be 'perfect' on this first and then see:D
Yes I have done the yoga stand, I do all the aerobics first, then yoga then if there is any time left the fun bit on the balance board, that is the way I started it and keep it , my absolute favourite is the table tilt on the balance, the hula on the aerobics, the steps all of them, the jogging well any part of the aerobics then:rotfl: yoga I do all of them, the one that kills me is going down and up holding the remote with your arm outstretched:eek:0 -
Dragon well done, brill :j
Marion we all forget those little extra's, sure it will be better next week.
Had very stressfull weekend, finding it hard to get back on track, so much going on. Will have to copy Marion and give myself a good talking to. The pooring rain not helping.0 -
