  • Very icey here, OH is currently chipping the ice off the car - took him 15 mins to defrost the locks just to open it.

Off to eat my porridge before sliding up the hill and round the corner to work - have fun everyone - try not to eat too much comfort food (do as I say not as I do :o ).

Must be good today - my suit trousers are feeling ever so slightly 'snug'. Might have been the Indian Takeaway (from Tesco) last night.

Good Morning everyone! Very cold here this morning and very icy too, although the sun is shine which is a good thing!:D My DH and I will stay indoors again today, DD1 has gone off to work with a workmate who has a 4X4 and DD2 is happy that the school where she works is closed today:beer:.

Eating was pretty close to plan yesterday although a few sliced of buttered toast somehow found their way to me. I am putting the blame on Mother Nature because I am sure that in very cold weather our instincts are to eat more and lay in supplies of body fat to protect us from the cold! :rotfl:

    Today I am having:

Breakfast - hot blueberry breakfast rice (free)

Lunch - beans and sliced quorn sausages on wholemeal toast (free, heb)

Dinner - Salmon with herbs baked in rice with vegetables (free)

Late snack - chocolate scan bran cakes served warm with muller vanilla/chocolate yogurt poured over ( 4 syns)

Anyone going out today please please be careful!

    Love
    Marion

    Morning, some fab loses:j :j

Having some terrible rows with OH , very happy that it is not leading me to food though, more like more time on the wii fit:D have decided to go easier at weekends, not mad, not over the top free for all but if the opportunity arises to go out for dinner or for a lunch etc then not to keep saying no all the time, in the week be good as gold but the weekends a little bit more carefree, the good old 80/20 rule, done it for a couple of weekends and it seems to be going o.k, well no gain anyway so that is something but then again no loss either and in all the weekend only had the harvester:rolleyes: no white bread, no bacon sarnies nothing like that:rolleyes:

    Morning all,
Well done for the weight losses.
The sun is shinning brightly off the ice!
DH, DD2 and DD3 were at home yesterday. DD3 gone to college today, DD2 off to Uni soon and DH left for work after checking the trains were working, got to where he changes trains to find no trains going to destination so has turned back, but now a train has broken down so he stuck in Tonbridge. What is wrong with this country! Rant over.

Last night I indulged in some treacle sponge and custard, so going to have to cut down today. Going to put salt on front path now, dont want postman to hurt himself.

 well, I did nothing but eat yesterday must be the cold. DS is off school today so we are staying put. We've had about 4 inches of snow over night and as the gritters don;t come within a 4 mile radius of my house then I am technically snowed in. My OH has driven to Milton Keynes at 3am this morning:eek:

No Yoga either as we were snowed in! The diet will have to start again tomorrow cos I feel the need to eat!
