Yeah 3.5 pounds lost this week! :-)
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T

congrats, saver. ha, long name there :p

Does anyone find volunteering hard to achieve? Its almost as bad as giving blood! Alot of the volunteering adverts are so out of date you dont really know what to apply for or not... You would have thought that volunteering opportunities would be easier to come by.

    Evening all.
Well that will teach me, there I was getting all excited about a snow day and guess what, kids off, hubby off and I had to go in as mine was practically the only school in Bucks that didn't close.
On the up side the head has already closed school tomorrow as there is more snow forecast in our area tonight (already snowing in fact, has been for much of the day) No exercise tonight as I sat after dinner (fatal) and I am still here feeling very tired. I will do an hour tomorrow on various.
Well done to losers and STS and keep going to any gainers.
    Hope all are well.;)

Got a good volunteering role here. Talking to old people on the phone. I would rather go round there house and enjoy a cup of tea and a chat while watching flog it to be honest. Talking on the phone does not alleviate lonlyness, i can vouch for that first hand.

Will age concern be full of nice old people, or grumpy ones? Age concern is like 5 mins away from me so its nice and walkable. Is age concern like an old peoples home?

Great loss Debaz & you other good peeps who have lost weight :)

Age concern is more likely to be a day centre or lunch club/social club.
In the long term do u have any idea what you might like to do Vix?
Great newws for Matt BTW :)

    Well done Debaz!!

Vix have you tried V Inspired (you'll have to google it) from what I can gather it's a site with different volunteering opportunities.

2lbs off for me please this week Raph

Very happy now despite the snow. And despite being apparently one of the few schools that are trying to open at all today.

Good luck with the chart -- it took me about 2 hours to get it from my laptop on to the forum the first time I did it, and that was with a lot of phone support from Dellly --- but once you knowwhat you're doing it's quite easy. You're probably much more computer literate than I am, so it'll be a doddle. Fingers crossed!
