Not as South or East as you Vix but only 5 miles outside the M25
Think that's probably South East by anyone's navigation ruling!!!

Well, colour me happy, foodfocus.com is back up an running! Now don't any one else use it, or all the bandwidth will get used up!
Day 2 of my damage limitation after Friday night's chinese meal out. I couldn't find out how to calculate my calorie intake for that meal, so have guestimated at 1000. Ideas anyone?
So, on this cold, wintry day, I have had:
B - porridge
L - roast chicken, veg, 2 yorkshires (no potatoes)
D - yogurt & fruit, possibly 2 crumpets? (not eaten it yet!)
Wishing all a good week ahead. My hope for the week is to do more exercise - last week was pretty useless! One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
South east to me is kent, but then as i said everywhere is north above london, west is like cornwall and that all you need to know about
It always shocks me how in the middle yorkshire is!
5 mins outside the M25? Id say your north west0 -

I thought you were going to say that. :rotfl: So that makes nmm practically Scottish
Apparently we are now due 15cm of snow overnight, with the M2 being first to be affected. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7863374.stm

Im still trying to work out where you live in kent
Based on what you have said there i have a cracking idea, i can think of one harvester that is near a cinema that does that thing my friend always goes on about.
I'd be so excited if im correct. Might search harvester locations to see how many are in kent, i can only think of two.
i am stalking victory now, it is official
Well, the harvester was towards maidstone and the cinema was completely the opposite way in rochester, so we went out dropped the kids back home and then went out again to the cinema, harvester is miles away from the house and the cinema also but there are none closer so we had to do it that way:D
talking about the harvester which we were I was very surprised to realise once got back and googled it that the spit roast and chips I had were 17 points!!! Wow, I cut back on the day but 17 points!!! Had to then spend 2 hours and 33 mins on the wii fit to get back to some semblence of normality0 -
do you measure at your hip bone?
...would if I could find it.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Marian, could you tell us what the recipe is for SW pancakes? It just sounds too good to be true.
I see that foodfocus is back - too late for me though. Icouldn't manage with out an online calorie counter, took the nutracheck 5 day free trial offer and loved it so much that I've paid up for 6 months. OK it's NOT MSEbut I just couldn't risk food focus going belly-up again ....
Missy a question for you please as you are the queen of all things exercise/calorie related. Nutracheck equates a number of steps to a mumber of calories (taking into account your weight). The don't count the first 2500 steps of each day but anything over that seems to be about 75 calories for a 1000 steps. Does that seem to you to be about right ? (bearing in mind I probably weigh about one and half to twice as much as you:eek: )0 -

These pancakes are fab grannynise - you don't really believe they are going to taste like pancakes till you eat them - but they really do!:D
I made these this morning and they tasted so good, just like the real thing! I would have them even if I wasn't on a diet!!:T
Syn Free Pancakes
1 Egg per pancake
2-3 Teaspoons sweetener (depending on own taste)
3-4 Drops of vanilla essence
First separate the white from the yolk and put into separate bowls, Whisk the egg white until fluffy and add the sweetener, In the other bowl add the vanilla essence then fold the yolk into the egg white
Heat a frying pan with frylight, add the mix and spread as you would a normal pancake after a few mins flip over (But do be careful they are much more delicate than a regular pancake) And then Hey presto scrummy syn free pancakes
I served mine with fresh blueberries on the top with a big dollop of sweetened 0% Total and used 2 syns on a tblsp of blueberry syrup drizzled over the top - heaven on a plate:D

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
Well balls to my theory. Thought you were at the Ashford one.
Although, you can get to maidstone via the ashford cinema, because when i drove to the cinema i ended up going to maidstone and on a motorway for the first time, on my first date with matthew.
You can probably tell that the creation of the Sat Nav is probably the best thing to happen to me!
victory: So youre not near rochester or maidstone, you dont have a harvester or a cinema. That means you cant be in a city, so im going to google towns and villages in kent without a cinema. ha.0 -

Oh my bad...I clearly threw the box out without looking closely enough. I would imagine it can hold more than it states as surely they are covering themselves from being sued etc so they put the weight limit at least a couple of stone under what it can actually handle. I have been away and only just checked this thread so if someone has already said this my apologies...0 -
Harvester in Ashford not next to cinema but beefeater is, and pizza hut and burger king and kfc and....... I think I know too much!0
