Oh my bad...I clearly threw the box out without looking closely enough. I would imagine it can hold more than it states as surely they are covering themselves from being sued etc so they put the weight limit at least a couple of stone under what it can actually handle. I have been away and only just checked this thread so if someone has already said this my apologies...

I think it will hold me. But having looked it up, looks like it will take a while of penny saving before I can afford one. But thanks for your help. Ive started hinting to DH as my birthday coming up!:rotfl:

The don't count the first 2500 steps of each day but anything over that seems to be about 75 calories for a 1000 steps. Does that seem to you to be about right ?

I've number crunched that and it seems in the right ballpark Granny :) I'd expect to burn 38 calories or so if it was me walking at a good pace, assuming approx 0.6km covered. A so-called 'average' female would probably burn 60+ calories over the same distance - walking is good stuff! :D

I thought you were going to say that. :rotfl: So that makes nmm practically Scottish :D
Funnily enough i am Scottish, born and raised in the highlands ;) We live about 40 miles from the scottish border near to Whitehaven if anyone has heard of it. I want snow!!! The ground is only damp from the drizzle of snow we had :(

:rotfl: grannynise, you're welcome to mine, my hips are like to axe heads sticking out, i'm forever banging them on things.

    HHA @ 7.30pm anyone :j
