  • Annie, I know this scales/numbers thing is very discourageing:grouphug: , but you have still lost a stone :T AND several people have noticed you have lost weight. You are still nearer to dropping a dress size - that doesn't change does it. So you are no further away from being a size whatever you were hoping for IYSWIM.
BY the end of Feb that 'extra' stone will be gone for good.

Need to meal plan today: trying sw extra easy again...
Bkfst: quorn burger & poached egg free

lunch - HM tomato soup & baked potato with tuna (& mayo 2 syns)
dinner: chicken curry with HM sauce, red cabbage, roasted butternut squash all free
    snack: wheetabix HEB & fruit
    HEA = milk
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Oh Annie, please don't cry, you have been doing amazingly well and the scales are only part of it, as its been said people are noticing your loss so it wasn't in your head, cheer up hun :) Are they digital scales? if so try changing the battery.

Well i did my inch measurements today, not the best time as its TTOM and i get bloated but it a starting point, i may do them when i do my weekly weigh in instead. Anyway the results, 1" loss on each thigh, 2" loss on my waist and 1" loss on my belly, my hips were the same but i think i'm taking the measurement wrong, do you measure at your hip bone?

Round 2 of the Kitchen Blitz today, so HHA all afternoon :rotfl:

Kids insisted on brunch (eggs, bacon, fried bread etc) said no then yes, made it, they ate it and for the very first time never touched it, put the remainder in the bin, put it outside and ate the normal WW soup that I eat and my sugar free jelly for lunch, how proud of me am I ?:D

Totally off topic but snow has hit Lincoln! Wahoo!! Looking forward to snowball fights to burn off a few calories.

Well done Victory, you're a stronger person than me for not eating brunch:D

  • wow well done victory! rofling at marion's threesome story, but your oh and charlie looked really cute having a cuddle.

feeling really rotten, this cold os wiping me out and making me want to eat. I'm more or less staying good, but can't face exercise. I'm waiting on the steps fitness dvd landing this week so hopefully i'll feel up to it. Must clean up today so I suppose that counts. managed to drag myself out to do a sampling session at hte butchers and shifted some stock yesterday, then today went to the farmers market to get some more stock. Resisted all the bread and burgers, and lovely cheeses, and just bought oh a pork pie. I sent him off to play out today with a big bag of raisins and health food bars to share out. I know they're healthy, but not when you just sit and open a packet, eat a packet, open a packet, eat a packet . . . repeat till massive pile of 50 packs is gone. so they're out of the house now.

Annie, i hope you're feeling better about this scales thing. It must feel like a huge setback, but at the end of the day, it's the fact that you are losing that matters, not where you started from.

Weighed in this morning and pleased to report a 2lb loss On the first attempt the scales said I'd dropped into the next stone by 0.2lb but when I double (and triple and quadruple) checked the extra 0.2lb had reappeared. Not too upset as my BMI is now in the overweight rather than obese range which is nice.
Not sure what to do about next week's weigh in. I usually do it first thing Sunday morning but I'm going to be at a friend's house after his birthday party. I'm also not at home Saturday or Monday morning. I work away from home during the week so I could take my scales with me and weigh in early on Saturday or a day late on Monday. Or just ignore my over whelming urge and miss a week of weighing in.
Victory - forgot I had sugar free jelly that should help my urge for sweet stuff during the weekends.
  • Victory - well done you - I'm proud of you, that's 'winning' will power :D

KPC - hope you feel better soon - I definitely ate my way through my cold and did not exercise - I'm all better now, I think that is the way to fight a cold off fast :D

Simbalou - yep, snow is currently hitting Kent - I'm contemplating popping in to work to pick up my laptop so that I can 'log on' and work from home tomorrow if we get snowed in. I've recently worked weekends and pulled 'all nighters' so I wouldn't feel too guilty if I didn't go in (except for a meeting tomorrow pm that I should be at - but if others don't make it in then it won't happen anyway)

nmm - I measured my inches at the very start of my 'journey', I have lost 5" from my bust, 6" from my waist, 4" from my upper arms (that's scarey), 11" from my hips, 9" from my widest part (lower down from my hips), 7" from my thighs, and 4" from my knees. Wouldn't mind losing an extra inch from my thighs - but we can't have everything can we :rotfl:

Off to cook a late lunch, BFN

WOW some fab success stories here. I've refused to stand on the scales since the other week, but have dropped the portion sizes quite a lot and have upped the exercise and am feeling MUCH better. We've just done a 5 mile hike up a couple of serious hills and back down again and got back just as the first few snowflakes started. Off to make late lunch / early dinner myself now too - feel it is well deserved today!! x Claire
Cut interest payments on ccards fm 30% at worst to 0% on only 2, plus a loan so all on good footing now + paying off each month NOT sinking! Thanks Martin!:T

Im still trying to work out where you live in kent :p Based on what you have said there i have a cracking idea, i can think of one harvester that is near a cinema that does that thing my friend always goes on about. :p I'd be so excited if im correct. Might search harvester locations to see how many are in kent, i can only think of two.
