4lbs a month is really good nmm. That means a stone by easter.
And all the time you are increasing your exercise, you are toning up as well:T

  • thanks bbelle. didn't weigh in today - my cold that has been brewing for months finally exploded last night and i slept for 11 hours, sleeping through the time i would have wii-fitted and weighed in. HOpefully this means one of the things that has really been getting me down will sort itself out - I've had a cold lodged in my sinuses for ages and it's making me snore like a pig, which means oh can't sleep and I end up guilty and ultimately convinced i'm a big fat heifer, which makes me eat more . . . . and so on. so, hopefully once the cold is out this will happen less and I'll feel better.

My new plan for getting my act together as of TODAY is

2 meals of cereal a day, sensible amounts. 1 glass orange juice, 1 glass tomato juice. snack on apples and grapes. Sensible tea, incorporating 1 more veggie/fruit item. When cooking, dish up a freezer portion immediately, no seconds until 15 minutes after finished tea.

Of course, this got blown today when I managed to miss lunch at work but I'm on the right track at the least. I ended up wit ha few mouthfuls of mushroom risotto and a cup soup, so not hugely out intakewise if rather less healthy. The big deal will be sticking to this at the weekend of course. However, I had to put together some images of the re-enactment group for a client and couldn't believe how much my shape has varied over the last few years which hopefully will act as an incentive.

well done all you losers, some really positive people out there at the moment, keep it up!
  • nmm - sorry, missed the 7pm HHA, got in late from work so tea was a little late.

Annie - well done on the loss (and to all the other losers), I'll join you at 8pm for the HHA (perhaps nmm will go for round 2?)

    HHA @ 7pm, everyone welcome.

No thanks done 3 hours today on the wii fit, that is plenty enough for one day and the wii fit only records 3 hours so then I stopped:rotfl: :D

    Hi All,

I've been having a very busy week, and have about 4 days worth of posts to catch up on, but before I do, just reporting a STS for me this week.

I felt a bit demotivated, but have felt hungrier this past week, so think I've had more generous portions. I am back to keeping a check on things, and have even got into some jeans that didn't fit a month ago, so it's all going in the right direction.

OK, off to do some reading now.....

    Evening guys
Thanks for joining me FFM and I am wore my tiara during my HHA to celebrate my SOTM. Thanks, it means tons to me:j . Someone at work today asked me if I was losing weight, that also made me feel good. So all in all a very good day.
HHA total = 30 mins on my new Fitness Instructor on the Wii
It was pretty good actually, tailored to my fitness, quite varied. I will keep you updated as I try each bit.
Has anyone else done it, those 2 mins of star jumps to assess at the beginning were a real toughie for me, I managed less than 1 min:eek:
I hope you are all well and have achieved your targets for this week.
I can't believe I have lost 13.5lbs since I started early in January.
Someone asked earlier what I did so here goes. I follow SW pretty much but I don't have many sins unless I fancy a treat. I have soup pretty much every day with a cracker and laughing cow cheese, a meal with the family when I can otherwise I have JP or PAsta. I am exercising between 3-5 times a week and have made a conscious effort to increase my steps. I truly believe that it is the HHA that has been my major motivation - so thanks to all you guys and gals who are with me on these sessions.
    Have a good evening
