  • gaaaaah. another ridiculous day at work, cleaning up other people's mistakes and getting flak from all sides for it. On the plus side I have not comforted myself with food. on the negative side, ar$ing around reading bad fanfic is not sorting out my car insurance. And i'm also slightly nauseated. What kind of a sick mind can write 10000 words of indiana jones crying and running aromatherapy baths for his dead/pregnant wife? these people need help(!)

    Hi all

Is it too late to join your merry group??

I am too embarressed to say how much I weigh but am looking to loose at least 4 stone this year but slowly. Cause I can crash diet but everytime I stop it all piles on again

Now i'm at a point that I need to do something before I seriously damage my health.

I hope that maybe by chatting to similar people I might manage my goal.

Hello alliwantistosave and welcome! . We are a diverse lot on here with people like myself who still have about 10 stone to lose to others who have reached target and are fighting hard to maintain their loss!

The support here is great, I follow the slimming world plan, but again others are following other diets and some just "watch what they eat" - what ever floats you boat:rotfl:

If there is anything you want to know I am happy to help:j

  • Well since the 12th jan I have been getting up 30 mins earlier to go on a cross trainer I have borrowed from my slim sister. I am starting slowly, also I have a Wii Fit so try to do 30 mins on that when I get home from work.

I Have brought the Paul McKenna weight loss book as somebody else from work tried that and seemed to do well.

When I weighed myself on wii fit monday so far I have lost 4lb but I do feel that when your BMI changes everyday it can get you down which previously would have sent me to the biscuit tin.

But any other advice would be great too as I would love to manage my goal for 2009

    Hey everyone, and the newbies.

I went swimming today, was a good time to go. Bonus was the lady gave me two tokens by mistake so i can swim for free now! WOOT. We did about 25 lengths in an hour and a half, followed by a genorous helping of hot tub. It was the first time id swam with a tampon in, all went well. Although i did stop doing breaststroke because i swear a bit of water goes up your vagina, and there was another bloke behind me again with goggles.

Matt and i argued till about 2 in the morning last night so im proper tired, were so much better now. Its so good to have a nice big argument, clear out all of it and have a good cry and a huggle!

Good luck to the lady who is having an op next week. Forgotten the name!

    xx

I'm sorry KPC but I don't know what you are referring to. Did I miss an earlier post? Wouldn't be surprised if I've missed something obvious as I'm being rather thick recently.

    Welcome alliwant.

Vix I know what you mean about the tammys. I used to have swimming lessons and if I didn't want to miss half my lessons I would go on my lighter days, however I was convinced the others would see the string if I was a bit over energetic! Hated the breaststroke on those days!
    I would if I could but I can't so I won't!
