kpc - gutted to hear that. At least you get a little more money (eventually) and extra leave, but stress is still stress insn't it. I can't understand why it isn't obvious to your colleagues you haven't caused the probs:confused: . Hope you can get the tax thing sorted. Same thing happened to my OH when he was working for the NT last summer and in the en I had to do the ringing on his & their behal as they we so inept. £100 is alot of money to us too. It's nice when you get it back though.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

    Hi all

Is it too late to join your merry group??

I am too embarressed to say how much I weigh but am looking to loose at least 4 stone this year but slowly. Cause I can crash diet but everytime I stop it all piles on again

Now i'm at a point that I need to do something before I seriously damage my health.

I hope that maybe by chatting to similar people I might manage my goal.

Yep with you on that one crash dieting total waste of time. Once you have lost the first stone it all comes together, I felt really bad about how much weight I had allowed myself to pile on over the last 20 odd years - about 4 and half stone.Good idea to give yourself at least a year to take the weight off I think it gives a better chance of keeping it off.

    Good Luck

  • awww bbelle you always make me feel better! they've found my p45 and sent it in, but i was on an emergency code earlier so they're playing catchup. So a bit of a blow but it will be better next week. Things better at work today too, phew!

Welcome new guys, hope you find this forum hlepful! LOL at Marion's comments. My little poodle used to eat vast quantities of penny sweets and midget gems, she was really easy to clean up after!

Hi, I joined weight watchers 4 weeks ago and have lost 9.5 pounds so far. I eat all kinds of foods, pasta, veg etc but make sure items like pasta are in smaller quantities. I brought weight watcher scales and calculator which are a great help.

I have a new hobby, tap dancing and I use the wii fit everyday for step aerobics and I use weights. I walk more and drink more water. I have cut right down on chocolate and sweets. I allow myself to eat out once a week but make sure I pick a good option and save points for it too.

I hope to lose much more as well but will keep people posted.
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T

Stacey ignore your other half. I was all happy when I told mine id lost 2.5 lbs this week...and he asked had I just been to the toilet! It didnt matter that he was smiling and said I'm only joking and well done straight after, I still felt annoyed and dejected! This forum is fantastic for support and posting will give you a boost.

On that note...all you wii fitters FORCED me to buy one!It arrived this morning and I thoroughly enjoyed my first half hour on it! I figured that yes with my spinal conditions extra exercise will hurt but I'm too young to "give in" to my health problems and am gonna fight it a bit. Im used to pain, so a little more wont be a huge problem and as long as I'm careful I think the positive feelings will outweigh the negatives.

Am gonna have sausage, mash and beans tonight. Not the healthiest but I had a really down day yesterday and want a bit of comfort food...and they are venison sausages meaning they are much less fatty than pork!Have a good day all x

Hi all, can anyone tell me does the wii fit have a weight limit, I worried I might break it if I get one. Also if it can handle my weight wheres the best/cheapest place to get one. Thanks all.
