HHA Result: 30 mins RC Toning
I agree with Annie that the HHA's have been a good motivator. Previously I would have given up whilst I felt poorly and then not started again, so this is probably a first ever, I'm back on the wagon.
Victory - 3 hours? Sounds like an addiction :rotfl: What's your favourite 'game'/'routine'?

Annie big honkin congrats for your SOTM title
Oh and Yes I found that 2 minutes of star jumps hard work, I managed just over a minute but boy did my calves know about it!
Today I managed 20 minutes of step on the good 'ol Wii Fit and as it is Wednesday 50 lengths swimming againDoes anyone else here swim? I always aim for 50 lengths non stop (its a 25m pool so thats 1km), it seems like a good distance but I'm starting to speed up and its taking me about 45 minutes atm, does that sound like a reasonable time? should I up the distance or try to swim faster?
Anyhoo food wise had a wee hiccup today as I was out doing training today. The place we were at served up sandwiches for lunch, totally wrecked my no bread till after the 3rd feb plan...eeek! apart from that the day went as planned fingers crossed I don't tip the scales in the morning.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

So, an hour and a half later, I've finally caught up on the thread!
Briefly, welcome to all the newbies. It's great to see so many still joining the happy throng of losers!
tagz - I really hope everything goes well for you, and at least you are now getting things moving along.
Annie - 13.5lbs!!! Holy cow! That is amazing in 1 month. I'm not surprised someone has noticed at work that you've lost almost a stone in 1 month!
Well done to everyone, regardless of losses. It's great to see how everyone is committing to making even the smallest of changes in their lives, and taking small steps to a healthier future.
I've had people in/out of my house ever since Monday, most of the day, so have managed only 1 session on the Wii fit, when I did 3814 steps in 30 mins. I had been stepping like a maniac, only to realise that the vast majority weren't registering! Grrr! I so wanted to break thru' the 4k barrier. hey ho. I plan to do an hour tomorrow morning, after the school run, so that I get it out the way before I have to go out after lunch. I have a pile of ironing that doesn't seem to want to go away - in fact it keeps increasing, so that has to be done too. My poor BF doesn't complain, but I know all his work trousers are in that pile - god only knows what he's been wearing to work (he's got a lovely physique, so I should ensure he has it covered), but very little I imagine!
So, here's today's food intake:
B - low fat yogurt with sliced apples & sprinkled with mixed spice
L - Baxters healthy chicken soup & 1 slice bread
Snacks - mixed nuts
D - 3 egg omlette, bacon, mixed veg/rice
Today I ventured into my wardrobe of old clothes! eek! anyway, I thought I'd try on some clothes, just to see.... well, I'm sat in a pair of jeans now that I put away last summer/autumn. I am also got into a pair of size 14 jeans I stopped wearing a year or more ago. They're tight, and the muffin top isn't that nice, but, they did up, and that's a start. I will get them out every few weeks to check my progress. When I get into them without the muffin top, I promise I'll post a picture!
Lastly, I want to say a massive thankyou to all the regular posters who give me so much incentive to continue. Marion, I love to see what you are eating each day. Victory, Missy, ffm, nmm, Annie, and more, I am encouraged to exercise when I see you list what you are doing. Those of you dealing with health issues, but still not giving in to the biscuit tin, I'm in awe.
Right, I'm off to bed now, because I've had too many late nights. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
A quick google came up with a time of 32 minutes for a 1km swim apparently by a slow 50 year old
was on yahoo questions. Ain't it great when clothes start fitting you again, i have my old favourite jeans somewhere maybe i'll get back into those

this new fitness game for the wii sounds very good and interesting. I think 50 lengths in 45 mins is great personally, last time I went swimming I only managed about 20 in that time! I get so tired so easily. I guess it depends if you've got more time, just keep swimming for as long as you can? or keep trying to go faster. Either should do the job.
Don't blame you on the sandwiches - I couldn't live without a little bread at leat a couple of times a week!!Outstanding Debts: DLC - £4,724.54 Blair, Oliver and Scott - £3682.00 Barclaycard - £1606.13
