Anyone else having a prob getting on to the Foodfocus site?
Im missing the foodfocus.co.uk website too. Very upset that its not working and have spent the last two days trying to find an alternative for the time being. The best one I have found so far is -
http://www.my-calorie-counter.com/
Its and American site unfortunately, but hopefully it will do for now. I really hope Food Focus comes back soon, even if I have to pay for it! Its the best one Ive seen so far.
Good luck to all the others suffering just now along with me!0 -

Hello Spicey - yes I normally use pudding rice and I make it with water, however this morning I still had some of my milk allowance from yesterday so I used that as part of the liquid (worked out half and half), and it did give a creamier texture. Don't know about the slow cooker, but could certainly do in the microwave, or stovetop. I use my beloved Remoska and it takes about 20 minutes to cook 1/2 cup rice plus 1 cup liquid.

The site I use to track my food is https://www.caloriecount.about.com this is American but it does have some UK stuff listed AND you can add items to it as well (any that you use often you "Tag" and this will hold it in your own list)Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

I am very proud of myself this afternoon, I had lunch and it did not fill me up, made me hungry, it got worse and then boredom and that decided to raid the kitchen, lucky for me there is no bad things in there but still was going for it and as soon as it started and I piled the plate up with various healthy foods I thought 'no, stop it now, go on the wii fit or have a bath or go for a walk, stop now' so I did, must be a first, went on the wii fit aerobics for 38 mins, had a hot drink and now feel much better, can easily wait for my dinner and avoided a disaster that will not have made me feel better, just would have taken me longer to get rid of the last few pounds I keep hoping will come off:D0

To all
All this talk of excercise makes me feel tired - I can only admire you all for sticking with it. My idea of excercise is a brisk hours walk round the park a couple of times a week, I really have lazyitous. Don't have a dog anymore and the cat is not inclined to go walkies so just have to take OH but at least no scooping! and the conversation isn't bad.
Onward with the next week.0 -
A walk a couple of times a week is better than nothing and you probably do way more exercise than you think, hoovering dusting etc it all adds up :j

Got an email today to say my new Wii game 'my Personal Coach' has been sent out. Can't wait! To tell you the truth I'm getting a bit bored with Wii Fit.
I can't believe that I'm typing this whilst hiding from my cat! Vet said he is getting a bit too big and needs to get some exercise so I should just shove him outside every now and then. Well when I do he follows me around by staring in the doors/windows meoiwing at me making me feel guilty. He even climbs onto the kitchen roof and stares through the roof domes and velux windows! Cheeky little so and so.I would if I could but I can't so I won't!0
