Hi all
Just a quickie - a flying visit to the internet cafe as usual! The opening hours are quite limited, and they seem to coincide with the times we're busy doing other things.
We're doing fine here, we're halfway through our four weeks in La Manga, and thinking about our next stop. We still have places we intend to visit while we're here so we're not bored yet.
Good to see everyone is doing well, from the brief catch up of recent threads. Fingers crossed that everything is ok Tagz.
Catch you all again soon.

Did think of trying that but the flex on the lamp was too short and we had run out of batteries for the torch!:rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh that did make me laugh. I know it's a serious situation tagz, but isn't it great that you have friends you can just laugh with at the same time?
A good friend of mine, who I'm going to see tomorrow, was diagnosed with BC type II 3 years ago, and even when she was going thru' the !!!! treatment we used to laugh like drains. After the initial shock, we just all got on with it, and she swore that it was trying to keep going along as normal, and letting herself laugh and enjoy herself, that made her feel so well. She was positively glowing, and looked so well during and after her treatment! She's absolutely fine now, and even joined WW last year to lose the bit of weight she'd gained before/during/after it all happened.
I've been on the Wii for about 45 mins today. The kids are now jealous because I've been unlocking lots of extra sections on mine, but as I pointed out, that's because I spend more time on the Wii Fit, and less time on Guitar Hero! They all want to get to the snowboarding level now, so it's going to encourage them to get off their bums again.
Meals today:
B - porridge
L - soup 2 slices bread
Snack - handful of nuts (ooer missus!)
D - bolognese/wholewheat pasta
Right, will check back later to see how everyone is doing. TTFN.One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
