Well I sort of wish I hadn't used the breastlight now! I found something in the same area that I think I can feel the lump. Have to wait until Tues to see my doc, we have a locum on until then and I don't trust her at all. The nurse saw me on Mon and said I should see the doc so now I'll be getting all my knickers in a twist until then. I don't do waiting very well!

Try to stay calm, I know its difficult having been through this myself but thinking too much really doesnt help. Best of luck.

Sorry to barge in on the thread but Tagz - I also can't access food focus, I'm just getting a message that the site owner has gone ove their bandwidth limit (which means nothing to me).

Bit worried how much this is stressing me out bth as I want to work out how much of my lunch I can actually eat if I log my exercise for tonight. Only been using it for a week or so and like to log everything I plan to eat that day, leaving some spare calories for treats, and juggle options around until I am slightly below target.

    Hi BreakinEven.

Exactly the same problem! I'm going nuts too as I want to put my brekkie and lunch in so I can work out what to get for dinner. It's amazing how dependant on it I've become!

BreakingEven~the bandwidth message basically means site is down at the mo as it is being overused.Try not to worry about it too much though.
If you dont eat enough you can slow down your weight loss~not sure what you meant about being under target.

My local paper is advertising for people to take part in the local NHS money for weight loss trial (been talked about in news recently) Think I might apply it not alot of money and you only get it after you have lost the agreed amount and kept it off for the agreed time, but it worth doing I think. I know some will think its wrong but they are going to do the trial anyway and I really need the help.

    Hi Spicey

What does the trial involve? Is it pills or exercise plans? Not fussed about using medical means but just concerned about the trial element. Look into it carefully and do a bit of research (I'm probably talking out of my bottom but I'm very wary!).

I don't have much to lose (I'm not quite 'overweight' on BMI charts but almost and ould like to drop a couple of sizes as I recently had to buy a 16 which is bigger than I have ever been), I've put my target as 9lb which would take me to the ideal BMI of 22, but I would possibly like to lose another 7lb on top of this if I can.

I got that message last night and still today, 'Exceeded bandwidth limit' refers to how much traffic your site can get during a given time. It must just be really busy with all of us after Xmas! I think if the traffic goes down the bandwidth limit will be lifted? Correct me if I'm wrong:o
I am writing everything down just now
    Good luck

Tagz - have been through this with my daughter recently and for myself a few years ago. In both cases the lumps were benign although DD needed a little op to remove it anyway.

It is as scary as hell but almost always there's really nothing to worry about. The waiting's the worst. Would you not consider going to the locum ... she or he can refer you to the breast clinic just as easily as your good doctor and that's what will most likely be the result of your visit. Then you can get the all clear more quickly.

Fingers crossed for you. Love from Granny.
  • Tagz - Glad it's not just me.

Beanielou - Food focus works out a target of calories for you to consume that day depending on what exercise you will be doing. I try to make sure that my meals and mid-morning/afternoon snacks don't take me right up to my target so that I can still snack if I'm hungry (I hate being hungry and get really nasty) like after my wii fit and fitness cube (mini multi-gym that folds in on itself to a 50x50x50cm cube) session last night I was ravenous so had a biscuit to take the edge off without feeling guilty as I knew I had some spare cals to use.

    Hi Granny

The locum has a way of making me feel like I'm a hypochondriac. I saw her about something else and she was very dismissive but when I mentioned it in passing to my regular doc she got annoyed with the locum and has sent me for tests and referred me to a specialist. It doesn't help that I've got loads of probs and see lots of different hospital departments but most of these things have been picked up by other docs who then refer me to another department aswell. Contrary to what the locum thinks (and she has hinted such) I don't like having tests done and I just want to be healthy!

I apologise to everyone for the moaning and the numerous posts today. I just needed to vent my feelings and now I have vented!:D

  • guys,
If you're stressing so much about not being able to log your foods you could try the daily plate...
    http://www.thedailyplate.com/

similar to food focus but a bit different.

It will give you the cals of your food and then you can put them all in to food focus when its back...

Or you can try and write down what you eat on a bit of paper and try some intuitive healthy eating and see how you've done when it comes back online...

If foodfocus has exceeded their monthly limit then it won't be back online till next month, unless they purchase more bandwidth, but as the site is free they probably wont :( Sorry folks.

Victory don't worry about the STS maybe you are like FFM and me, burning off the fat and increasing muscle. It weighs more so the scales are not quite accurate in this sense.
