Hi all
Just back from an hours worth of aerobics. We had a great time as one of my best mates runs the class as she used to be a fitness trainer, and the others are my friends. We have a giggle whilst we exercise but the one who leads won't let us slack! Plus point is she knows which parts of us we want to get into shape and the minus point is she knows which parts of us we want to get into shape (if you know what I mean). We'll all be moaning about her at the school gates in the morning.I would if I could but I can't so I won't!0 -

Hi All,
Just a quickie to report in for today.
Hello newbies  you'll find lots of support here, and we love to hear everyone's ideas, and generally how everyone is doing.
Today my calves have been absolutely killing me! I know I went a tad OTT on the Wii yesterday, as I did 3 stints at the free step! I should finish it off with a session of yoga, and will do so in future. I just need to stretch out the muscles tomorrow.
I had an enforced lazy day as a friend popped round unexpectedly for the day. Food got overlooked (too much chat), so it was a bit disjointed. No exercise. I'm a bit tired, as I've a combination of TOTM, and waking far too early each day - I think a neighbour is disturbing me by going off to work, as I can't think of any other reason. Got to get to bed a bit earlier too.
Food today:
B - banana
Snack - h/m flapjack
Lunch - 2 crumpets
Dinner - quorn sausages, mash & veg with gravy (couldn't eat all mash/veg)
Snack - 2 Nairns ginger oat biscuits
Off to bed now. Good to hear everyone's losses coming in.
Good luck for tomorrow's weigh ins!One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Have been off work since Nov with stress and my dad has been ill, in and out of hospital and back in on Thurs for an operation. We're no closer to finding out whats up.
I sts for a few weeks, gained 3lbs over Xmas but back on track last week and lost 6lbs taking my total weight loss in 2 years and 1 week to 176lbs :rotfl:
Hope I can get back on the chart again this week.
Look forward to catching up0 -
Morning all, had my Vi1 test done at the gym last night, it was great as Simon was doing the test (same guy who did my first gym assesment) and he kept saying how fantastic it was to see the changes.
He was amazed at the weight loss and the drop in BMIall my results came back good (low cholesterol, low blood glucose, low VO2 Max, good blood pressure) and I got a green flag on my printout
I've added a few abbreviations to the first post for the newbiesI've just added STS, HHA and HHSS. Is there anymore I should add?

hiya starlight! nice to have you back. sorry things have been hard for you. Hope there's some good stuff coming your way.
well, i've got a 1.2kg gain to report, i know exactly where it's come from as i've been doing way too much snacking. yesterday was the first day in over a week that i didn't snack so that was day one, and this is day two. That is the last gain i want to see for at least a month.
think i will get that dvd, i've got some amazon vouchers saved that will cover it. thanks for the advice!0 -
