Beanie - that must have shaken you up:grouphug: . Thank goodness it wasn't worse. Glad to hear you are ok.
Not going for weigh in tonight. Achey & cramps and want a hotwaterbottle & duvet.
FAcing up to the fact that latest drugs seem to cause some weight gain too. So it looks like I will have to work at sticking to sw plan to sts. Still at least I know, I really don't want to put any more back on. I'll give it another week then if I am still sts, I'll stop going to meetings as I can't afford it long term. I'd presumed by repeating what I had done bfore, 10 weeks would crack it, but hadn't realised this other drug might be an issue.
Still, too excited by builders visit for kitchen quote to be down about a few lbsHope it is not going to turn out to be a trillion squid.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

Marion - how do you make hm celery soup?
Celery Soup:
Ingredients:
[*]2 heads of Winter Celery. De-string the coarse outer leaves and chop into 5 cm pieces (approx 1 kilo)
[*]600g of potatoes (peeled and chopped into 2 cm thick rings)
[*]1 large Spanish onion, chopped roughly (approx 350g)
[*]1.5 litres of vegetable stock
[*]A dash of dry white wine (optional)
[*]A couple of bay leaves
[*]A good dash of fresh ground pepper
[*]350ml of single cream/creme fraiche to serve (optional) Method: 1
[*]Pre-heat oven to 140 (120 fan-assisted).
[*]Prepare the vegetables as above and put into a large heavy bottomed, ovenproof saucepan.
[*]Add the stock, bay leaves and ground pepper.
[*]Bring slowly to a strong simmer.
[*]Cover the top with foil and put on the lid.
[*]Place the saucepan on the bottom shelf of the oven for 2 hours.
[*]Remove the bay leaves and liquidise. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Method 2 - which I use:D
Put everything in pressure cooker and bring to pressure for about 12 minutes, reduce pressure then whiz!
Enjoy! When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -

Watching TV whilst doing steps on Wii, hmm as i don't own one i am guessing here you would either use PIP (picture in picture) or have 2 TV's. Don't take this as gospel though, the last console i owned was a Dreamcast, lol.
HHA is as Beanie said Half Hour Activity which we post here if we want to do one and some people might join in, like a virtual fitness session. Like now HHA @ 7pmCross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0 -
gemily, you will find that beanie and I excel at HHSS - if something's worth doing, it's worth doing well:D .
Yup, excitement reigns beanie over the kitchen. So far, every thing has been done for virtually nothing thanks to a wonderful lodger and freecycle. I'm getting a builer to put in a 3000mm worktop that runs down one side of the galley style kitchen: it's got the gas hob in it so too technical for us to do. I've also taken a few cabinets off the wall and the wall needs plastering and an electic socket put in. All this is highly relevant to WL of course as it's 'the kitchen' - central to any eating regime:D . I'm trying to make it more user friendly and more space efficient.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0
