• Oh Beanie, have a hug :grouphug:

I hate dropping plates/dishes - all that clearing up of tiny bits of crockery that can get into bare feet/paws.

FFM :)

PS - welcome bizzy izzy

Just like to say hi to you all, would love to join you but can't as i dont own scales, don't like to weigh myself, what i do is try on stuff that is to tight for me and see how that goes, any way good luck to you all

Its a pretty good way to monitor it bizzy izzy, did that on Saturday night and am pleased to report I can now get my favourite trousers and other suit trousers to fasten which is a huge improvement - not long before I can actually wear them again :j

Beanie hope you've got over the shock and aren't too badly cut.

Discovered I suffer from severe munchies prior to TOTM, never noticed before as I've been eating whatever I want whenever I want. Got loads of cherries and bananas in so should solve the proble. Unfortunately the guys I work with realised I was craving rubbish all day and kept on mentioning loads of lovely stuff. Oh well meal out on Wednesday

Welcome spicey, sorry if we missed you, keep posting you'll soon become a regular :j HHA @ 7.30pm, am i the only left doing these? bah lightweights :p

cheeky mare!! I've been to yoga this evening for 2 hours! Yes, 2 hours!

And it was bl@@dy fab!, its been a long time since I practised and I loved every minute of it.

Now all I need to do is get rid of kids (no babysitters other than DH, not able to exercise with the little blighters around), win loads of money (in order to fund the new exercise regime) and size 8 here I come!

But back to reality, I think commando training once a week, yoga once a week and when I feel a bit fiter then I think I might just take up jogging.

I hope everyone is okay this evening, I;m off to bed now.

Night night!

Ohh Beanie hope you are ok! It seems my OH came out in sympathy for you - the numpty dropped a glass when he was clearing the table and tiny bits of glass went all over the kitchen floor! Spent ages with cloths and torches trying to get the last bits (we turned off the lights and shone a torch all over the floor!). The kids and cat were banished from the kitchen for ages.

Sorry if I've missed anyone but welcome all the newbies! Been trying the Foodfocus website and think it's great but I've found a glitch with it. When you view past days is applies the total calorie allowance after exercise of the first day you have looked at to all the other days until you look at your exercise log for the day you want to view (does this make sense?). Maybe it just doesn't work for me. Interested to know if others have the same prob. It gave me a bit of a fright when I looked at the past few days and found it seemed I had gone over my allowance (until I then clicked on the exercise log for that day and then back again!).
I would if I could but I can't so I won't!

haha mambury, i knew that would get a response :rotfl: yoga for 2 hours, i'm impressed :T I was checking my BMI as i'd put in my height as 5ft 5", turns out i'm only 5ft 3" and although just now my BMI is still in the healthy green bit its nearer the top end of it @ 23.4, so i know my target weight now to get that down to around 20 :j

tagz - I use the Foodfocus site every day, and haven't found that! Unless I put in my exercise each day, the amounts are set to zero... I wonder how that has happened for you? I focus more on the 'Net Calorie' figure, as the 'Normal Calories Burnt' wouldn't allow me to lose weight.

Beanie - I do hope you aren't too sore after your fall. How did it happen? Falling isn't fun once you're over the age of 12! I can recall starting to walk out the front door, and the next thing I knew I was flat on my back, with my legs up in the air, about 10 foot outside the front door, on the lawn facing the house! It happened in a split second, and the children were sat in the car and didn't even notice!

Well, I stepped onto the scales with a certain amount of trepidation this morning. TOTM arrived upon waking up, so I felt rather !!!! too. I was fully prepared to have gained or STS, but was pleased to find I lost 2lb this week! What a relief.

I was so delighted that I did over an hour's exercise on the Wii today, and unlocked lots more things to do. I finally unlocked the Free Step, and so I just watched TV doing that. I managed almost 3000 steps in 20 mins. I was sweating and huffing, but figured that was going to do more good. I was showing off my hula skills this afternoon to the children, and they were laughing their heads off at my technique, but I got a highest score, so nur!:rotfl:

I think my loss has given me a bit of a boost to stay on track, and even though I was going to allow myself a bit of an easy day calorie wise, I actually stuck to within my limits quite easily. My friend weighed in, and she's STS, so feels a bit down I think. She had a bit of a chocolate fest over the weekend. I know she was aiming for quite a bit more than that, but as I pointed out to her, it's not a gain, so that's a positive in itself!

Well done to everyone's losses/STS's and for those struggling, we've all been there in one way or another. As it's already been said, you're still on here, and that's exactly the right place to be. We'll be celebrating your losses with you next week for sure.

Hello to more newbies - ooh, this is becoming such a cosy thread. I'm off up to bed in a bit, as I was up early, and read something somewhere today saying sleeping too long didn't help your weight loss! But I figure if you're asleep, you can't eat!
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

Hey all, I should have gone out for a run yesterday, but was so tired I was in bed after eastenders!
Off to the gym today, now that Cannons has changed to Nuffield Health I can have a free Vi1 test (usually £100ish aparently) so I'm booked in for today. It's almost a year since I joined the gym, so it will be interesting to see the difference after a year :)
