wooooooo vix! well done. And how exciting delly to sell your house. you've handled everything so well, we are all very proud of you.
ffm, musta admit to cheating on wii boxing because even when i hit every single targetbang on for the double points he still thought i was a lightyweight. Now, when it gets to freestyle, i just furiously waggle the remote and nunchuk to really rack up the points.
was very naugght at weekend but also had a couple of hours of dancing because I Went Out and everything with dancing and boozing and stuff. It was a nice change.0 -
Hi everyone. It's good to be somewhere where there are other people who are struggling to lose weight due to meds for chronic pain. No-one else in my class has such problems and I don't really want to say anything as they will probably see it as an excuse.
Victory - I know where you are coming from there. I'm 35 now but have been in chronic pain for over 10 years so it's really hard when you look young enough to be 'fine'. I've had my fair share of nasty looks!
Don't want to go off topic but since I've switched to pain relief patches I have felt a lot better due to less side effects. Not sure if any of you are on them or have tried them? Much better than the tablets
Am sorry to hear that so many of us are suffering or have partners that are. It does really make you think twice (or even more that twice!?) about exercise. I know I've got increased pain as a result of my exercise yesterday. But am going to still do my daily stretches and then some gentle stuff on the Wii today.
Great news on the weight loss everyone today :T And to Dragon - don't worry about it - it will come off eventually I'm sure.
BB - SW and WW in the same household is interestingBut h2b prefers WW and it works for him. My SW consultant reckons I should step on the Wii Board when he weighs!!

I really believe that day will come for you Marion. Take today's fab result and store it somewhere in your armoury, then you can pull it out next time you're dreading the scales. Each time you use it and believe in yourself, it'll get a little bit stronger. Then one day, probably completely unexpectedy, you'll march up to those scales and say 'Ha, I laugh in the face of your dial'
Raph, sorry you're feeling impatient, completely understandable now you're so close. It will comeI think it's a good idea to monitor your breakdown as I'd imagine your composition has changed significantly. Good luck - I feel you getting to target will be almost as exciting for me as reaching my own would be!:T
Missy, sorry I missed your Thursday rest day, was obviously far too overexcited by the sport p*rn :rotfl:I'm guessing you are aiming for a triathlon or some multi-activity variation? I might take a peek over on the exercise thread you mentioned if I can find it or maybe you could PM/FB me as I'd love to know your plans.
Congrats to everyone posting their results this week - even if it was a gain you're still here and still determined and that's what matters.
Hugs to all those in chronic pain, what you go through can only be imagined xxThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

To everyone who posted about chronic pain - I know where you are coming from and I feel for you. Im 19 and have had numerous operations on my hips and back, all of which have fixed one problem and caused another one. Now I am left with a degenerative condition which over the next 10 years will get considerably worse and reduce my mobility. In that time I will also need to put my body through the stress of a pregnancy which will not be easy and will make things worse. I guess im trying to say I know how frustrating it can be when people dont seem to/try to understand and think that unless you have a visible condition then it cant be that bad...if only!
Not too sure how weigh in will go on wednesday. Not only were we away but OH was very ill so although I didnt eat badly its not the same as being in your own home with control over what you cook and eat. Take care all.0 -
dmv - you poor thing. That is so young - my pain didn't start till I was in my early 20's and that was hard enough. The baby dilemma is a hard one. I haven't had any and docs have advised me not to now even if I did lose weight! But h2b has 3 kids so am enjoying being a step mum instead. Maybe we should have something tatooed on our forehead and then people would know that we're not just being pathetic or whatever else people seem to think?!
Anyway good luck with the weigh in - fingers crossed0 -
Reporting a STS for me, i'm pleased as it could be down to muscle like FFM, i'm certainly not as flabby as when i started :T I hoping the new Davina DVD will be a bit tougher and help me even more
As for nasty looks for the pain sufferers, we got one worse than that, an idiot doctor. My OH is/used to be a biker, long blonde hair, muscles, leather jacket, etc went to see the doctor at hospital and all the guy kept saying was "No drugs, No drugs!" OH stood up and said i don't want any more drugs and the nurse thought he was going to hit her, even though he was just walking to the door :rolleyes:Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0 -
nmm thanks for the challenge, I did the 30 mins wii step and got 2990, took a pic because it does not stay there:D happy I did it because yes the pain gets really bad, sometimes the mind is willing but you know you are only going to make it worse but hey some exercise and movement has to be done:rolleyes:
kj pain relief as in the deep heat patches yes but I am some seriously strong arthritic tablets the size of bullet,my sis can't understand the docs because I was on them then my white cells lowered so bad they panicked and took me off them then when the white cells returned to normal put me back on the same ones apparently to see if it happens again:rolleyes: low white cells in a diabetic is very dangerous ground to be on because a cold can turn to pneumonia in an instant:rolleyes:
dmv Whenever the cp hits, the trick is to find a positive, absolutely impossible sometimes I know but there has to be a positive to keep going.
nmm,jane,vix,marion,button:j :j :j :j :j
the dragon the battle your up against is incredibly tough ,I have immense respect for the fight and how you handle it
x-raph the best bit about the last 8lb is you know it will come off;)0
