Morning Everyone!
I'm only having a quick peep in this morning as I'm about to go to Netto for my normal weekly shop - being very OS this year and not buying loads of festive rubbish that doesn't get eaten! I'll probably buy some nuts and extra crisps as the kids are at home so will attack the food cupboards like locusts LOL.
Got the wrapping done yesterday and remaining cards up so only ironing to do - I put it off yesterday but now have no clothes to wear! Mystery veg soup (I hide lots of mixed veg, tin of toms & lentils in it so the kids don't know whats in it, even though they all love it) & naan bread for tea tonight. A nice light meal before tomorrows feast at my parents. I bring the turkey back home as they don't really like it so theres lots of turkey meals on the menu for the next week.
Have a good day all.

Morning Guys!
The nurse has just been and think I am set up for the day now.
DD is in her room wrapping and OH is on his Xbox. The house is clean and tidy and have got a list together for our holiday next week. WM has been on and needs to be put in the TD:o and DW needs emptying.
We are off round our friends at lunch with loads of food, drink and games:eek:   ....he's a bit suggestive when he has had too much to drink, so someone may get a slap later if he tries to work out my cup size with his hand again:D We have been invited to a late game of poker, but may leave that and let OH go by himself.
Still not decided what to have tomorrow, so I think I will get out a Gammon and FR Chicken. Got goose fat for the spuds and yorkies.
My food delivery is coming at 12 from Ocado and managed to get a £15 voucher code for it, so that compensated for the £9.99 delivery:eek:
Anyway, I hope everyone has a nice Xmas and love/kisses to all.

I have been MIA for a while having being struck down since last week with the flu that is doing the rounds.
Not much in the way of Christmas preparations to do today as we are out Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Although the house needs a good once over and as I am feeling much better today I will give it a blast. I must remember to sew the button on the blouse I am wearing tomorrow, defrost some sausages for sandwiches tomorrow morning, wrap OH big present and iron something to wear on boxing day
OH and I normally buy each other some little suprise presents but unless he finishes work early today, not looking promising, we will have to give that a miss this year as we wont have time before the shops shut.
Merry Christmas to you all. :santa2: :xmassign: :xmastree:Annual GC £2500/£486.79 for 2 adults and 2 dogs

Morning all,
My Christmas starts now as DD1, DGd, DD2 and SiL 2b are coming for the day. We will be having the full xmas dinner except I'm doing roast pork because DH insists on turkey for xmas day.
I'm going to lay the table even though we dine this evening, it looks so festive. For lunch I have set up a banquet table and will load it with buffet food. Last night I made a pavlova and a yule log so I don't think anyone will go hungry.
The rooms are strewn with candles which will be lit at lunch time along with the inglenook, I love my candles. Then it's pressie time.
DH and I have the veg out ready to prep whilst listening to Carols.
Hope you all have a stress free day. xx0 -
Morning Everyone
Belated birthday wishes Catowen - didn't get to post yesterday, I hope you had a good one.
I think I am all ready too, presents wrapped, cards written and delivered, shopping done, and DS23 arrived home at tea time:j :j . P-P - the best resort I have found to that is a suitable check in reverse (not too close) and say - yes 3" (or even 2") just as I thought!Usually they will not risk the insult again
Treating myself to the hairdressers at 9.45am so much go and get organised.
Have a good Christmas Eve
