Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all those out there in MSEland!
Have a lovely time! Oh well, off to baste my sprouts. Darn! The Turkey's boiled over! Something is wrong here. Hmmmm.:D
I could make it better myself at home. All I need is a small aubergine...
I moved to Liverpool for a better life.
And goodness, it's turned out to be better and busier!0 -
Happy Christmas my OS sisters and brothers!
I am very very very merry (not used to alcohol and got a whole glass in me), happily downloading music from Amazon and getting merrier as the day goes by and the wine goes down! Unusual for me but what the heck, it's Christmas!
I hope you all have a great day and fav holidays, as well as a healthy, prosperous and peaceful New Year!

Merry Christmas! I think my mum's MS days are gone. She boiled up the turkey carcase for stock for soup. I asked if she was going to pick off the meat to go in the soup. Said she couldn't be bothered tonight, had a hard day. She has. I went and picked off the meat, there's about 650g! Would make a smashing pie I think, along with some onions and white sauce. And she was going to throw it away! I wasn't going to let her.
I'm being mean now...we've had a fab OS dinner, fresh turkey, good sausages, roasties, mash, sprouts, colli, carrots all fresh and sausage stuffing, sage and onion, chestnut stuff, bread sauce and gravy all HM as well. All for 14, then Xmas pud and syrup sponge for those who don't like it, brandy butter, rum sauce and custard.
My hm chocs to finish with.
Tea, well that was Xmas cake, log, pate and ham, all home done. cheese and biscs.
You wouldn't get any better if you went out for lunch and spent however much per head."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

I hope you all had a lovely day yesterday...i had the best christmas day that i've ever had. Everything was so organised, cheap and fun with board games, uno, cards etc...it was all very O/S.
My DD1 & DD2 had lovely presents which they would not have been able to have a few years ago due to debt and bad money management...but that has all changed due to this site.
Thank you for all your help and advice over the last couple of years. I think you are all wonderful and i'm very proud i'm part of this forum.
Thank you all and have a HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL
