Just to correct you newskiller on one point you made....i don't want an argument back so don't bother
the phone sent to some people is not a c616v it is an e616 (without the v)...and the difference between that and the e616v is it has a rubbish battery - hence why they updated it - and is not trivial :P0 -
Just received mine today. both phone are e616v with £15 top up states on the box and also they charged me the correct amount that is £29.99 each and also in the box 16mb sony memory stick is included
(Amazon didnt have memory stick in their box)

To help people out when they are calling can we establish what the differences are between the E616V you should have got and the phones you have been sent.
The C616V loaded with the E616V software only differs by the lettering over the first six digits I understand. Otherwise the phones and packet contents are the same AFAIK. I have these.
The C616/E616 package is quite different. This is what I have gleaned.
1. The phone itself - anyone able to check the firmware/software version. My guess is the E616 wares have been updated to the same as E616V. Any physical differences known?
2. There is no MS Duo card
3. The charger is different and only charges the phone not a separate battery also as with the later version.
4. E616 has a 1360 mAh and a 780 mAh
the E616V has a 1800 mAh and 1100mAh
I understand all the paperwork is identical (even both have same E616V manual)
Copy and add/edit any other info. My info is second hand so could be partially wrong.0 -

I've had both phones from CPW now, the 616 and the 616v. The v does have the larger capacity batteries, 1800 and 1100mAh, the charger for the v allows you to charge a battery off the mobile and also one on the mobile at the same time. I'm also told that the 616 has had the software updated to v standard.0

Order Total: £ 89.97
Recieved no further mails, delivery arrived on Wednesday to my home address instead of the delivery address, first !!!!!!-up there, then I opened it to find that I had only been sent 2 phones and charged 2x£15 in addition to what I had ordered and also the third phone had been taken off my order, second !!!!!!-up there. Looks like they tried to be smart and make the charge the same. I phoned them on Thursday to to try and resolve, first guy I spoke to hung up on me, second guy I spoke to was admant that he was doing his best to help me, he was also adamant that that I was wrong. So then spoke to someone else who told me that sorting my refund out wouldn't be a problem, but another manager would have to deal with this, and that he would contact me back that afternoon. No reply, so I called them back again today, was told that somebody would contact me. Again no contact, phoned again, this time I spoke to a lady called Roda in their e-orders deparment, she told me that she was manager for the day(think that pick straws every morning by the sound of it). She admitted to me that there had been an error wedsite that had permitted me to purchase the phones at the price I did, but she wasn't willing to refund the unauthorised monies that CPW had taken from my credit card. I asked to speak to her manager, but was told that he was unavailable. I was given her managers name as Steven and a contact number of 0208 869 5400 option 2, and I will contact him on monday to see if he's willing resolve this before I leave it to my credit card company.
You may think this quite petty over £30, but I like anyone else hate the feeling of having been ripped off, so intend to pursue this.0 -
lol...pretty much the same story for me...
was told i would get a call back at 1....nothing...called back myself at half 2 and after lots of discussion (she started getting very annoyed at me) was told to talk to manager Steven on monday ::)0
