Hi everyone! I ordered this phone and received a fulfilment order by email: "Order: 1 x Nec 616v, Silver on 3 Free connection £ 29.99 Order Total: £ 29.99 " dated 4th December. It arrived today and the invoice is for £44.99. I have just emailed customer care telling them to refund the difference or I will contact my credit card company as the amount deducted of £44.99 was unathorised. I'll let you know their reply. The customer care no. is an 0870 but the sales number is 0808 100 9250 if anyone wants to call and get transferred.0

Unless you have actually been charged more than you authorised you have no case. ::)
It is a misuse of watchdog and you are guilty of worse behaviour than you accuse CPW, Tescos etc...
At least shoplifters have balls. ;)
Pick your battles.0 -

My phone arrived yesterday, even though the acknowledgement was 29.99 they have debited my Credit card with the 44.99. I emailed them yesterday they told me they would come back with 24 hours. So we will see.0

...and it follows that those people have a case. They should have no problem if they challenge CPW and say they will put the transaction in dispute with their credit card company/bank.
I believe the people (e.g. sahibjee37) who want to involve watchdog are not in that position and did not have any unauthorised payments taken. Hence the wording in my post. Understand?0 -
Thanks for the watchdog link angelcake....sent my info off to them
and before anyone jumps down my neck, i bought two at £29.99 (my email confirmation is 8 mins after the first post) and have been sent two phones at £29.99 and two vouchers at £15 - no sign of the vouchers in the packet(i know they are in the phone box but therefore they can't charge me for both) and e616's sent in an e616v sleeve - very cheeky >:(
have emailed them twice but no reply as yet ::)0 -
I got a delivery yesterday completely out of the blue (CPW email said I would get email confirmation of when the order was about to be dispatched).
The invoice inside the pack showed 29.99 and I checked with my credit card company and thats how much they have taken from my card
A SIM was in the box although I haven't tried it out yet to see if any credit is on it yet.
I think the only thing that differed was the model was a c616v whereas the box and email showed e616v.
Btw, I placed my order around 7pm on 4th Dec.
I'm really happy with it, thanks for the link! ;D0 -

make sure you check the actual box and phone for the model number (sticker on the side of box) not the number on the sleeve which shows c616v/e616v....this is not what they have sent several people...they are being pretty cheeky and sending an e616 (without the v) in an e616v sleeve
ps. the e616 has terrible battery problems0 -
Thats ok Stavros, I hope this works out because I got 2 phones for people for christmas!!
