  • Just got this: :'(

    Dear Sir/Madam,

This price did not include the £15 voucher which we attach to all of our NEC 616V phones purchased on three pay. This brings the price of the phone up to £44.99 (inc £15 voucher).

DOH! Not a leg to stand on now!

.....and it's got the £15 SIM.

  • DOH!  Not a leg to stand on now!

Haven't you? Did you authorise payment of £44.99 then?

I just recieved two orders placed 5 hours apart only one of which I recieve an email for btw.

Both reciepts are for £29.99 which is the amount I authorised.

It is one thing to have to cancel or re-offer an order due to pricing errors but another entirely to take unauthorised payment.

Also I'd have to say they are on shaky ground if they quote a price that excludes an item that is (not just linked to the deal package but) physically impossible to separate. I.E. the box is printed with the words ready to talk and play with £15 top-up to use with any service.

What would you think if you bought a chicken and rice ready meal and they only quoted you for the chicken then only charged for the included rice at the till?

Silly analogy but hey... you get the idea.
  • I never received my phone so I guess as long as they haven't taken my money I can't complain, so just cancelled my order! via email of course!

.....and it's got the £15 SIM.

Certainly appears to have, it claims to be 'ready stuffed' with 30 days free entertainment Must be honest though I really want to unlock it for use with another sim, so unless that is possible (at reasonable cost....I'm thinking free :)) I will most likely sell it on so dont want to use the sim at this time.

Having said that it does seem a very nice piece of kit.

Hi everyone (This is my 1st post)

I ordered 2 phones and received today.
Phones come in a box with an additional sleeve over the top identifying product as NEC 616V BUT take the sleeve off and box says NEC 616, so does the phone.

    AND

They charged me £30 extra for the top-up cards. I only authorised them to take £59.98.

    AND

Called them on a geographical tel # (not sure if I'm allowed to post number here) and was told they don't have a date for replacement phones and would still have to pay £30 extra

    SO

I cancelled the order (no good to me after xmas) and was told that top-up cards are none refundable and would need to pay for them. What a B***** cheek!!

Am waiting (won't hold my breath) for online manager to call me. Surely they can't charge me for something they decided to add on after the sale had gone through?

    Will keep you posted
