When did you place the order? The confirmation is an auto-generated message "Fulfilment Order" which appears very soon after you have placed your order. It's the second "Order Status" you've got to watch out for....they send this when they are ready to despatch.

I just got an 'out of stock' email, I ordered on Saturday :-(

I will have a look in my history when I get home tonight as im in work at the mo!

i.e. Can I buy the phone and a PAYG card but not bother topping up and just use the GPS functionality?

The problem here will be the 30 day validity period of the credit...use it or lose it after 30 days

I think they might have discovered their error. I ordered on Saturday 2pm and they sent me this in an email today "We are happy to tell you that we have processed your order. It will shortly be dispatched from our warehouse." A friend ordered Sunday 4pm and he has received the "Fulfilment" email. I should receive my order tomorrow and will let you know how much they have charged on the invoice which they always send with the phone.

I ordered one mid-day on saturday and got the confirmation e-mail straight away, ordered another yesterday and got that confirmation too.

Strange thing is the Subject line contains a reference number beginning with 421, whereas both my orders had ref. no.s beginning with 596 ???

I'm guessing they intended to sell these phones with the 3G sims and forgot to account for them. Keep watching the site to see if they miraculously come back into stock at the revised price of £44.99, then we can give them hell ;D

I ordered on Sunday, got the fulfillment email and now the flippin' OUT OF STOCK email!!

OK, looks like my mate is the subject of a swindle...the one i mentioned before (ordered Sunday). Original email said £29.99 and now the order has been processed they have added £15.00 for the SIM ???
