Does anyone know how long cooked pasta will keep for? I made a lovely pasta dish this evening with tinned tomatoes and mushrooms but I made far too much. Theres a good two portions left and we wont get to eat it again until Sunday, will it be ok until then?

I would eat it on Sunday no problem and would probably take some in a packed lunch Monday as well! The only time I wouldn't is if it had meat or fish in it - but would still eat on the Sunday!

  • if you can't eat all the pasta at once, ideally you should toss it in olive oil so it doesn't stick as it cools. As we cannot toss it in olive oil :naughty: dammit I spray it with oil** and shake it about. I have kept it for two or three days in the fridge, it's fine, it's only flour and egg after all.

**I don't use frylight as I like to know what I am eating, so I use olive oil in a spray from Lakeland. I see someone <<<<< back there said they mixed it with water, I may try that.

Theres no meat or fish in it, just pasta, tomatoes, mushrooms and onion. I've managed to fit all the leftovers into one tub so I'll have it for dinner on Sunday. (we've already planned to have steak tomorrow night)

    Thanks for the replies :)

    Hi
I have been reading this thread on & off since joining SW last year. I was doing really well - all due to a great consultant and class (It helps to stay every week! ). I had lost 17 1/2 lbs from october up to week b4 christmas and was so chuffed with myself. I have been away for 3 weeks and just got back wed in time for SW yesterday..

    I have put on 11 1/2 lbs:eek:

Well now I have picked myself up from off the floor and I am determined to rid myself of the excess I put on (I did have a good christmas and new year but didn't realise just how good:o ).

I am not sure I will try the new plan, but will stick with the known green & red until I have sorted my excess out.

    x

Well done everyone for your losses!

Firstly wanted to say "hi to all" this is my 1st post on SW board. Been doing plan for a yr now. :o)
I put on 16lb as i couldn't go to class the weeks before Xmas & during. I did the EE plan and it 10 days lost 13lb of my gain, so do give it a go if poss.
It fits in so well with my family now, no more Quorn for them :T
Good luck to all, I enjoy reading this thread :j
