  • Hi!

This thread's got very long and as it takes resources from our servers would someone be able to help out by starting a new thread and posting the link to it in here for others to see where the new one is?

    Many thanks!

    Andrea :)

I'm hoping for great things this week (famous last words probably!) I've been following the plan religiously, I've been very motivated and totally 'in the zone'. I soooo want to get to my (revisable) target before Easter.
We did a motivational thing at our group a few weeks back, we were all given a 'post-it' type flower and had to write an aim to achieve by easter such as lose half a stone/drop a dress size/lose an inch off waist/increase activity etc. We then all stuck them on a board. I put 'get to target' which at the time seemed achievable but as time passes I'm getting the collywobbles . I have been good, I have upped my fluid intake, I have increased my activity and I do feel that I 'deserve' a good loss, so why do I feel so apprehensive as WI day draws ever closer?

I blame Catt :D (How you doing sweetie?:hello:)

Hi everyone, had a fab time in london, and confess I ate exactly what I wanted with no slimming world controls, so expecting a definate gain tonight, but I believe I needed a full on treat as have been having some family troubles (as we all probably do) and this was my first break since last October. Anyway well done to all the excellent losers this week, definately will get myself on track this week as really want to lose another half stone before end of May for my trip to Canada. Hope everyone has a good week.
P.S Thought peoples recipe ideas have been great, will aim to give some of them a try this week.
Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:

For those who can't seem to lose despite being good - I find I don't lose for 3-4 weeks and on the 4/5 week I lose a few pounds. It then hovers around the same mark for a few weeks and then I get a loss.I find it's best to weigh the week after my period as any bloating is gone.

Our weight fluctuates so much I'm not convinced weighing weekly is such a great idea (although waiting a month is frustrating)

lo_brush , thats how everyone feels when they go to get weighed , we should'nt but we do , try not to beat yourself up over it .
What i try to do the day before i get weighed is stay on red days , as pasta ,spaghetti , potatoes bloat me and stay in my sytem for over a day , and i don't try to drink anything for at least an hour as , iv'e had a cup of tea got weighed then went to the loo at slimming class and have loss 2lb , do try it .
good luck with weigh in , i'll keep my fingers crossed not that your need it , that you and eveyone on here dose great this week .

    Well done peachy!

lo-bush - blame me all you like ;)

Haven't been on here much 'cause to be hionest all the bloody moaning makes me sick. You're on a diet (for a reason) and all you can moan about (not you personally) is that this is too dry or that is too dry or I don't like this or that! What happened to being inventive with free/low-syn sauces/condiments and receipes!

You have NOTHING to moan about being on SW. I've just started Rosemary Conley's Fat Attack Fortnight and I'm on 1200 calories a day - can have NO foods 'freely'. Try it and then see what you have to moan about on Slimming World where you can have what you want, when you want!
