Hi everyone, hope you dont mind me dropping on in. Have been reading for a few pages and everyone seems very friendly so gonna try and keep up with this thread, although it moves very fast each day!
have been doing slimming world since end of sept and have lost stone and half so far. Long way to go as yet, but pleased so far. First weigh in today after xmas and new year and gained 3lbs, not as bad as i thought so quite happy, just hope i can get it off by next week. only prob is i came home and ended up eating 5 chocs from the remaining box of Dairy box. Does anybody know how many syns roughly these are each? Can't wait to try the new EE plan but looks too good to be true, bit scared i wont achieve my 3lb goal for next week, so might stick to red/green for a few days til i have had a good read through the booklet. How is everyone else finding the new plan? has anyone been doing it for over a week with a weigh in result? please share. Have a good day everyone x:ABoots Tart in Training

Penguin i to need 5lb to get my 2.5 stone award and i so want it by the end on Jan too.! We can do it!!!!
Someone mensioned jam on toast, my consultant is always telling us that quark will take on the flav of anything you mix with it if left overnight, i have only tried it with a tin of tuna and it did work makes it like a tuna pate, but i know she has said, fruit, garlic, curry powder, are just some of the things you can mix in to a tub and make great tasting dips, spreads ect, im just wondering if you mixed it with jam, if it would work and then it would spread the syns out alot further?Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0 -

i tried the sw pizza recipie from one of the mags, and it was a bit of a disater, think i used to much mash for the base as the outside was lovely and crispy but still soft in the middle, still tasted great even though it was more like a pile of pizza flavoured mash than a crispy pizza!! LOL
I made this once from an old SW mag. and it was a disaster for me also!!"Stay Wonky":D

Quakr with tuna on top of pasta or jacket pot (on the EE) - why didn't I think of that! I'm always throwing half pots of quark away because I don't know what to do with it after I use half to stuff chicken with quark and garlic! Thanks!!!!

Im going to try mixing quark with garlic salt, thinking it will make a nice dip for some carrots and celery when i get munchys late at night, as one of my pre sw favs was crisps and garlic dip!!!(so not good!!)Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0
