Hello again!
I decided to try some different breakfasts since I always seem to use a HEa and a HEb and if I'm going to do EE I'd rather not use both first thing in the morning if I can help it!
Today I tried VLF yoghurt with frozen (well, defrosted) berries but i don't really like the texture of the berries. What do you all have for breakfast if you save your healthy extras? I'm a bit stuck on this one...
My plan for the day is...
b) fruit yoghurt and honey (1 syn)
l) JP with HM lentil and veg soup (1 syn for soup stock cube)
d) Not too sure, but will invove quorn and rice as am sick of seeing the lonely few chunks of quorn in my freezer!
Snacks - victoria sponge cake (any idea how many syns?!) and soup0 -

Feeling a bit down (and a bit porky) after Christmas so I thought Id better come back to this thread now and restart my healthy eating. Im not so bothered about the weight loss, I just want to be healthier and I know its not good when your weight is all around your middle. (If anyone can PM me the latest password I would be eternally grateful!:D )
Ive got the latest magazine and want to sort out what the EE plan is all about. Need to stop the drink and the treats now and get eating more fruit and veg!0 -
Hiya everyone.
Thought i would start posting more often as it help me keep on track when i first joined sw over 9 months ago now.
To date iv lost 2st 2lb, i had lost over 2.5 stone but in the past 7 weeks or so iv let things slip, but have to say i only put on 2lb in the 2 weeks over xmas so very pleased as thought it would be more.
I really belive in the sw programme as i know it works, iv lost 3 sizes on the bottom half going from a 16-18 to a 12, and from a 18 on top to a 12-14, which has boosted my confidence miles, i have a whole new wardrobe and hold my head high now when i go out...which is why iv slipped slightly as iv had lots of nights out something i dont do very often but in dec felt so happy i met up with old friends and had lots of nice nights out!!
Im a member of our groups social team and find this helps me stay on track and go to group every week even when i know iv had a bad week.
Last nights meeting was all focused on Easy Extra, the consultant explained it all in detail, and i feel this is going to be my weekend plan from now on, as it fits in so well with the kids, no more making seperate meals (as my kids dont like alot of the main free foods in green and red), huge shep pies, and bacon and beans, and chicken curry (the kids hate quorn!!)
Yesterday i went through all my old recipie books and mags and worked out the easy extra values for all recipies and my new years promise is to try at least one new recipie a week, i did this when i had my best weight loss and put it down to not getting board.
Tonght im having sw pizza with the base made from mash potoes and spring onions and garlic..yummy seaved with sw chips and garlic musrooms.
Desert which is my fav is a merangie(tescos own brand) with 2tbsp of aresol cream and grapes=3.5 syns and really hits the sweet tooth craving!!!
Have a good day everyone
Donna

Hi Beachbeth good to see you back. I think consultant31 posted the full details of the new EE plan a few pages back, it explains it the best. but its basically only having 1 HEA and 1 HEB choice, then every other meal you can now mix all the free foods on the red and green list ie lean meat, potatoes and veg all on the one plate. I think the more fruit and veg you have, or 1/3 of the meal being superfree foods speeds up the slimming process. hope thats right and makes sense.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0

I love the SW mag and especially all the recipes. Do you think form now on at the bottom of each recipe it will say Origional FREE, Extra Easy FREE etc
As there is a lovely recipe in this months for prawns, salmon, potatoes and watercress sauce, its free on red but using pots as HEB, so on EE I take it its all free? it would save having to wonder and work things out.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Yep it would be free on EE.
I should think they will start listing the value for all 3 plans as you said it would make it easier.
Last night had melting leek risotto from the Oct 08 mag pg 61, it was lovely.Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0
