I am not presently a Slimming World member, but have been in the past. I always found the S W eating plans to be very good without leaving you hungry day or night.
I recently bought a copy of Slimming World magazine and was reading the 7 day menu for the new Extra Easy Plan.
Please could someone tell me how it works. In the recipes given it states that unlimited amounts of both Original and Green ingredients can be eaten together. Sounds too good to be true.0 -
I am clearing out the 'breakfast cupboard' since DD only now eats porridge for breakfast  This has uncovered several half open packets of cereal.
I was about to put them in the bin, but of course this isn't very moneysaving,:money: so thought I'd ask you lovely lot for any ideas. They are probably a little stale, I won't be eating them as they are (cereal and milk _pale_) , so anything that transforms them SW style would be fab
1/2 box malted wheaties (shreddies)
1/2 packet weetabix
about 100g raison wheats (mini shredded wheats with a single raison in each)
any ideas0 -

Hi everyone, only more more day till I rejoing SW properly!
I've not had a good day as I've done something to my back and all day at work I've struggled to even turn my head without my back complaining, must be the way I slept last night!
I didnt feel like making lunch last night so had to make do with a tiny little sandwich today so now I'm starving. I'm typing this whilst OH makes us a quorn curry - he's cooking, I'm shouting out the instructions to him, I hope he doesnt burn it! lol
Todays food has been....
Breakfast -
2 x weetabix and mullerlight
Lunch -
Cheese sandwich and a pot of batchelors super noodles to go, the low fat one.
2 x penguin bars
Dinner -
Quorn curry and rice
I've had 4 mullerlights today, they're half price in my local co-op so I stocked up on the way to work.
Fingers crossed my back gets better soon, we have our training course tomorrow so I dont want anything to ruin my concentration! They have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson

Thanks for the welcomes.
Well I've gone and done it - registered and attended first class this evening. As I haven't stepped on scales for years I was shocked by how much weight I'd actually got to lose - 6stone 10lbs. Blimey is seems so much (it is so much).
I think I'm going to set myself 10lb targets instead of looking at the whole total I've to lose. Felt a bit like crying actually but have managed to be sensible about the whole thing.
Off to study the books now - think I'm going to be a Green Day person!
Going to weigh out my oats for brekkie

cheer up, I have lost just over a stone and have got to lose at least another 8 stone! We can do it, we really can even if it takes a couple of years. My family are brilliant and bought me an actifry for Christmas which is fantastic. It works out that I use 1/4 tbspn of olive oil to make a huge batch of chips for me and olive oil is so healthy for you. They actually taste like proper chips. I never liked the chips where you used fry lite in the oven.
Good luck, all we can do is our best. But this time next year we'll be well on our way to goal and be wondering why we ever doubted we could do it, you watch."Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm Welsh" Cerys Matthews0 -

Whats the 100 day challenge?
C xx
I found it on another form, you give up something for 100days, alot of people who stock pile stuff like shampoo./bubble bath are doing that, or if you buy magazines in excessive amounts you could do that. Mine is the vending machine at work at which I spend about £2.50 a day between Diet Coke and chocolate etc, so not only am I saving money I'm helping my waist line!

P.S thanks for the encouragment SC x x:j Norn Iron Club Member No. 343 :j0
