Evening all.
Back from weigh in and I am pleased to report a loss of 2 pounds :j. I thought I was in with a chance for Slimmer of the Week until I remembered i put on 4 pounds last week!
This was my menu for today:
Breakfast:
Hi fi bar (HEB)
2 black coffees
Lunch
2 slices of bread that is HEB friendly. Roast lamb tablespoon Sweet chilli sauce dressing (1.5 syns)
At class - taster evening and coffee with milk (HEA)
Tea (after weigh in)
4 small Jacket Potatoes, Tuna pouch (4 syns?), 28g cheese (HEA), spring onions, lettuce, 60ml low fat thousand island dressing (syns think 0.5 syns per tablespoon?), cucumber, 2 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce. (3 syns)
5 or 6 fruit polos (unknown syns)
pack of treat size milky way stars (think 3.5 syns).
its easy for those syns to creep up! now Ive written it down, it seems quite a lot
Intend to plan my menu for the week but its was my first day back at work today so Im going to leave that for this evening and plan a menu when Im feeling less sleepy!!
Hoping to have mainly extra easy days0 -

Skint_Catt wrote: »Hit a snag now back on the plan proper! After lunch and dinner I always crave a mouthful of something sweet (no rude comments!) - not a whole choccie bar or anything, just 1 square (but if its in I'll eat it!)
I've made a sachet of sugar free jelly into four portions (can someone confirm one portion will be 0.5syns?) for after dinner, but any suggestions as to after lunch?
A typical lunch for me pre-sw more than likely included a sandwich (usually shop bought) bag of crisps, choc bar, bag of sweets (finished the next day for breakfast ) and occasionally a can or bottle of normal fizzy drink.
Now my lunches are SW friendly but even if I pile my plate high and absolutely fill my face, nothing replaces or matches having something sweet to munch.
I sometimes munch a banana to get that sweet fix or a clementine or sometimes i have a yogurt. if all else fails, I have a treat size choc bar which typically are about 4 syns. (when I first started SW - my evening treat and what i looked forward to was a glass of measured wine - 6 syns and a pack of treat size buttons (4 syns) which I could really savour)

In reply to left over cereals, I would put them out for the birds, I save all fat which I cut off meat, and mix with breadcrumbs I get so much pleasure in seeing them scramble for all the bits.0

I weighed myself this morning after following SW all week (mostly!) and was a little dissapointed to find I'm only 1/2lb lighter. I'm annoyed with myself as I ballsed things up with my food fest at Nandos on Saturday, oh well best get back on the wagon again.
Any tips on how to speed things up, I cant imagine only losing 1/2lb per week, that would get a bit depressing after a whileThey have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson

Liz3yy - weighing yourself can sometimes be deceptive as your weight fluctuates day to day, hour to hour. I think Judders has done something similar but I've lost 8lb overnight before now (but then I am weird - normal bodies fluctuate up to 2/3lb ina day)!
:rotfl:
Drink enough water (2 litres a day), stick with as many free foods as possible (especially speedfoods), weigh everything you're meant to - and it all works!
Missyy - that day could be either red or green - I always think you really need to show your body which day you're on (adding meat to breakfast and lunch would help, even a slice of ham/piece of bacon or a free sausage)
On a green today;
Breakfast; spaghetti, leftover mash, mushrooms & egg
Snacks; 1 litre water, fruit, fruit and fruit and a yoghurt
Lunch; Savoury rice or ravioli
Dinner; haven't decided yet - on own, so maybe a small lasagne, pasta or spag bol
I really need to restart my Wiifit Yoga tonight!
