Hey, i'm an ex weight watcher as well lol. It will take a little while to get used to but now i'm in my second week and it is much easier. Working out syns is easy - when you go to the meeting get the on-line password and look on the syns calculator on-line
A good green lunch if you have access to the ingredients/cooking stuff is a batchelors or tesco pasta n sauce (chicken and mushroom or chicken are my fav's) or a noodle mugshot 1% fat (not a pasta one) - they are really filling and you can have with a 57g wholemeal roll (HEB) if you like. I always follow with a chocolate muller light (not the one layered with cherry - just the orange or vanilla) and if i haven't had the roll a HEB hi-fi bar.
Am on a red day myself so have had a sausage and bacon wholemeal roll with mustard and brown sauce and 8 extra (lil) sausages (joe's sausages) which was one HEB and 1.5syns for the sauce- must get some more burgers.
To be honest the only limit is your imagination - how about cold roast potatoes and quorn black pepper fillets (free)DFW since JAN 2009 - 2014 will be the year i finally clear debtsJust to see which month

On a red day you can eat syn free burgers and sausages. There are pages of info on sausages on this thread lol. I like www.joessausages.co.uk - they have certified syn free slimming world burgers/sausages/chicken in sauces. They are highly recommended by me, even with 6.99 deliveryDFW since JAN 2009 - 2014 will be the year i finally clear debts

 I was wondering if anyone has had any experience of doing the new EE plan whilst breast feeding? I understand you get extra HE which is good but has it been ok with your feeding? the last thing I want to do is interfere with my lo's supply
also a v.quick question can you make your own stock to use?
many thanks

sorry to bump my own post but i re-read this & worried it seemed a little rude - I didn't really introduce myself or anythingso here i go again
i am starting SW on thursday & am very excited, i did it before about 5years ago but gave up & have let all the weight pile back on & some more
i have 3 children - the youngest being 7wks old & i am desperate to loose weight for my health & so that i can enjoy running around after my children
I have bought the latest sw mag today & am already planning my meals for next week & can not wait to get back into things - going to give EE a go (does anyone doe this all the time or do most of you chop & change?)
anyway I look forward to getting to know you all over the coming months

Just popped in to say "Hi" to all my old pals on here. I made the decision to stop going to SW (been going for almost a year) and spend my money on a keep fit class instead.
It's only once a week but I enjoy it. I did enjoy SW too but had "plateaued" for months. I am still eating the SW way, because it suits me and I know that I will carry on as I am. Went away for the weekend and wasn't any probs at all - I know what I can and can't eat and then went out for a meal on Mon night and don't mind at all not having a pudding when everybody else had one. I actually sat there and could not believe how quickly they were eaten up and what damage they might have done to me!!;)
Anyway, good news is I have lost 2 lbs since leaving SW so that's a total of 2 stones and 1lb.:j I will pop in from time to time to check everyone's progress.:A0 -
