  • hi there - I am going to re-join SW this week after a few years off
 I was wondering if anyone has had any experience of doing the new EE plan whilst breast feeding? I understand you get extra HE which is good but has it been ok with your feeding? the last thing I want to do is interfere with my lo's supply

also a v.quick question can you make your own stock to use?

    many thanks

  • Hi all

Thought I'd drop in before I jump on an aeroplane to Copenhagen,:j :j and report that I lost 1.5lb last night at weigh in which I am thrilled about - puts me back at my target weight, and therefore 3lb to enjoy eating while I am away :D:D

I lost last week while entertaining my parents for 3 days using the easy plan, and for the other days doing a mixture of red, green, easy and M2M!! Maybe the constant changing kept my metabolism working well :T

Hopefully I won't put on toooooo much while I am away, but it is my birthday (saturday), and a little treat every now and then  shouldn't do any harm. If I put on more than 5lb, I would be a bit disappointed.

So, be good everyone, I shall be getting back on Sunday night and checking up on you all, so have a great week :T :T

I take a Yakult drink every morning and they are 2.5 for the regular and 1.5 for the light, which are not as sweet, so nicer in my opinion. Sorry, I know its not the Benecol but I don't know that one. Did a check SW online and its not coming up as recognised.

    Hi everyone,

I have taken Benecol yoghurt drinks for a couple of years now to lower colesterol. Has anyone researched the best equivalent to suit SW minimising the Syns or even free ones?

    Thanks

    Pete

Morning all im a newbie to this thread as I have just started slimming world on Monday night, im sure those scales were wrong but thats another matter  .

Im totally and utterly confused with it all really and wondered if anyone could give me any hints and tips. My situation is that I havent had the time to go and shop for all "healthy" foods so im having a bit of a mare as to what to eat so much so that yesterday I had 2 weetabix and milk for breakfast and plain pasta with sweetcorn and a bit of chillie sauce for flavor for lunch (yes it was very very boring) but it did fill me up, and for tea because my oh had already made them i had home made fishcakes and carrots, again very boring.

I had ran out of weetabix yesterday so last night i tried to find out if i could have cornflakes but according to my book they were in the syns bit? is this right do you have to count any other cereal as syns if they arnt in the book?

In know this probably sounds really thick but im getting so stressed over this,
I actually went to the local shop for some weetabix for my breakfast so had them, this lunchtime im having salad, brown bread and boiled eggs, and I havent a clue what im having for tea? I really could do with some suggestions for a nice lunch and i really wanted to fit my diet in with my familys tea which i could do with weightwatcher because it was just a points system but im finding this really difficult and i really want it to work.

Just 1 other question sorry, but how do you work out the syns for eg a little packet sauce mix that can go into a stirfry ? do you have to buy a book or something with all the syns in?

Many many thanks for reading this and I hope that you can help me please. :o
