    Hi all, :hello:
I've been away at some friends house, so I've not posted for a few days (and once again been trying to catch up with the thread). Anyway at Thursdays WI I did manage to get rid of the 1.5 lbs I'd (undeservedly) gained the week before and a couple more for good measure :j so I was well pleased. Unfortunately, I've probably regained some of that with my weekend blowout, but Hey you've gotta have a life. I'm on a damage limitation mission now and I'm hoping that if I stick at it I'll limit it to a STS this week, wish me luck!!.

Good luck with your damage limitation lo_bush, don't forget I am still hanging on to those 2 lbs of yours:rotfl:. Do you want them back or should I just get rid of them this week;):D

Ooooh I've just done some maths and I think, if I've done it right, I've lost 59.5lbs so far, thats more than a sack of spuds from the farm shop and I wouldn't fancy lugging one of those very far!! Maybe I ought to go for a 0.5lb loss just to try and round things up  Having said that I think that will be pushing my luck!:D

  • The official explanation:-
    Extra Easy:

    1. Choose your Free Food

Anything that’s Free Food on Green OR Original – so that’s pasta, rice, potatoes, lean meat, poultry, fish and all the Superfree food – is totally Free on Extra Easy! Yes, you can eat unlimited meat, potatoes and veg, fish, chips and mushy peas, and chicken curry and rice with no measuring, no weighing, no counting – no kidding!
And for super-fast, super healthy results, fill one third of your plate with Superfree Food!
    2. Choose your Healthy Extras

Each day select one Healthy Extra ‘a’ choice and one Healthy Extra ‘b’ choice from our simplified list of calcium and fibre-filled foods, including milk, cheese, bread and cereal.
    3. Enjoy 5-15 Syns each day

And if the Syn values for Green and Original foods are different on the standard Syns lists, count the lower one!
If you find your weight loss has slowed down or stopped, check………
1.Whether everything you're counting as Free, is Free

    2.Whether you're under-estimating Syn values (over-estimate if guessing)

3.Whether you're counting everything that should be counted

4.Whether you're measuring everything that should be measured

5.Whether you're sabotaging your success in any other way (using SAS logs will help uncover individual long-term self-sabotage patterns) and, if none of these is the culprit, either...........

increase the proportion of Superfree Foods to half of your plate...........

    OR...........

    switch to more Speed Foods

And above all, if you follow the plan, any plan, 100% you will lose weight!

thank you for this very useful post..makes it very easy to understand!! and it is quite an easy programme when you sit down and focus on learning it plus making essential notes!.......well worth it new comers....takes about a week of totally focusing on it i found!:j

    Morning all!

Went to my first class last night and OMG - how much do I weigh???!!

Well here goes the first day and I'm feeling very positive. It's going to be a long haul but I have to start somewhere.

All my meals are sorted for today and this evening I've booked sometime with my son to use the wii fit this evening (its set up on the same TV as my sons PS3).

    Onwards and downwards hopefully! :T

Hey StOlli - Welcome and well done on going to class. :T :T The first weigh in is the worst - and its out the way now!
Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side
