Thanks nic - I put on 4st with ds1 and 3.5st with ds2...For the last 6yrs I have remained 5st heavier than pre-kids, and I managed to lose 2st just before becoming pregnant this time.....I am hoping all the pregnancy weight will vanish with the birth this time and I can carry on where I left off with 3st to lose:)
I have also carried on buying the mag right through the pregnancy, although I did get some strange looks from the girls behind the counter:D

Thanks for the well wishes too, I just can't wait to get it over with tbh.

  • Hi all!

I've been to weigh in after my 1st week back on SW and i lost 4 & half pounds!! I was sooo chuffed! Set a mini target od 2 & half fo rthis week which would be half a stone in two weeks, that would be amazing!!!

I always have stuck to green days, I know how to do those & i dont like meat so red would be impossible for me. I was wondering tho, if im on a green day & have some meat (no fat or skin ect) could i then change it to an extra easy day & the meat would be free rather than use a HE B?

Im an old school slimming worlder & this new plan confuses me! hehe

    Thanks in advance!

I have barbecue chicken from the rottiserie at Asdas..looked up syns online and it says 3 syns per 100g on red day.
Now I would expect that if I'm eating the skin but if I'm not eating the skin is it still 3 syns per 100g or free?
Roumer has it that they inject fat into the flesh of some rotisserie chickens, so I'd say 3 per 100g is correct for the flesh only.
On the subject of rottiserie chickens - they should be synned. This was brought up at my meeting last week and one of our members spent ages trying to find the exact syn value (but couldnt find it). They should be synned because oil is injected into the chicken to help keep it moist whilst on the rotteserie thing. How much oil is anyone's guess. thus I would eat with caution or avoid!

Can some one please tell me what the lowest syn crisps are? I need crips or might not last the week out!

    Thanks

I love Pom-Bear's and they are only 5 sins a packet. French fries and Golden Wonder lights are only 4.5sins too.

Why not make your own tortilla's if, like me, you like the "crunch"? Par boil lasagne sheets for 5 mins or so until just soft. Cut in half width ways, then into half again into triangles. Put on a baking sheet sprayed with fry light and spray the triangles with fry light too. Bake on the top shelf inthe oven gas mark 8 for around 5-7 mins turning around half way through. You can sprinkle them with bbq seasoning, black pepper, salt or whatever you fancy before you put them in the oven.

Watch them carefully as you cook them as they catch really easily and quickly go from raw to burnt. They store really well in an airtight container.

Can anyone recommend any sin-free salsa recipes that I can dip my lasagna tortila's into??
