Hi, my books are in the car but im pretty sure that Jordans muesli all varieties 28g plus 1 ryvita is one HEB or 5 syns as Marion pointed out. You could bulk out the 28g with banana and berries so you could save an HEb and synshurricanewyn wrote: »Hi all,
Todays plan is:
Can anyone tell me the syns for Muesli? I had a bowl of about 56g of Jordan's Fruit and Nut muesli. It's not on my list of HEB's, so I'd like to know how many syns it has.
Anyway the meal plan for today is:
Breakfast - Muesli and milk (HEA and ?? syns)
Snack - Apple and banana
Lunch - Be good to youself egg mayo sandwhich (Free, HEB)
Snack - apple and banana (forgot to stock the fruitbowl over the weekend, so that's all that was left this morning... not very exciting!!)
Dinner - Bubble & Squeak
Beans
2 X Fried Eggs (Free)
small homemade fruit salad (Free)
Evening snack - cereal and milk (HEA)
College is cancelled this evening, so I'll probably start picking, just out of boredom so I need to get to the shops and restock the fruitbowl to make sure that's what I'm picking at and not the kids lunch box treats!
I've decided to actually join a class. I'm going tomorrow lunch time, but I'm scared (I'm such a wuss). What exactly do you do at the Image Therapy bit? Do they make you talk if you're a bit shy and don't want to? Does anyone else know what your weigh in results are, apart from the consultant? I know I'm being a baby about it, but I am quite worried.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Hi Mel, well done thats pretty good going re weight gain. I ate for Scotland with my 2 and put on 3st with each of them , goodluck in the next few days, hope it all goes quickly for you .
Ive had a pretty good weekend, been a bit naughty but hopefully syns will have covered it.
I have a new target to aim for. My friends hen weekend is in May and im also going to 2 Morrissey gigs the 2 days before. So I want to look great by then and really want to get to my target weight (10 st 3 lbs). I then want to have a new target weight of 10 st exactly for the wedding in July and my sisters wedding (im a bridesmaid) in September.
All my friends seem to be skinny or ideal weights, ive been the porky one for the last 9 years or so. Now im getting close to where i want to be, a lot of them havnt seen my in a year or so, so I want to make a big impact. Its giving me the drive to stay on plan.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

Hello,
This one is puzzling me and teased me into joining the thread rather than lurking. Why would rice noodles be a 9.5 on a green day? I thought surely they should be free as a rice/pasta?
Peteretiredlady wrote: »Hi katie, not sure what you mean by going wrong, the rice noodles are 9.5 if you are doing a green day or an extra easy day. It only goes up to the 31 syn if you are doing red days because rice is never free or even a HEB on red days. Can you just clarify exactly what you think is going wrong and I will be happy to help:j:j

If they're straight to wok, they'll probably be preserved fresh using oil... I'm guessing that's why - dried rice noodles should be free.0 -
I've just seen that you can have THREE slices of WW brown danish bread for a HEB. I never knew that - more bread, yummy! But I don't think I've seen this in my local shops - anyone know where you can buy it?

Hi everyone, now i've signed up I might as well introduce myself. I'm Pete, 6'1" and 105 kg. I want to get down to 95kg.
In the past when the belt has been getting a little tight, I have gone onto Atkins, with all the veg etc. This had the advantage of allowing all the cheese, fatty meat and red wine. Having given up wine this year SW was open to me as I could spend my syns on food. So, I started on EE but gained in week 1. I think was down to coming off Atkins at the same time. I have moved to red/green now for week 2.
I find green days easier to manage than red days cooking wise. Does sticking to one colour more than others slow down progress?

JHate and I do mean Hate my apple Mac Computer - wish I'd never bought the thing
Do little and often
Please stop using the word "of" when you actually mean "have" - it's damned annoying :mad:0 -
Thanks for the advice on the muesli - looked in my book again, and it's right on the top of the list! Don't know what I was looking at this morning.
I think I'll bulk it out next time though - 28g really doesn't seem like a lot on it's own. BTW, if anyone likes the Jordan's cereals for HEB's, they're in Poundland at the mo - same size box is £3 in Sainsbury's/Tesco.Sealed Pot Challenge - member 1109:j0
